How do I even explain what Miss Susie meant to me? From the first time I saw her sweet eyes peering up at me at the shelter to her last moments, I was her Mama. My little guard dog, who always barked as I was coming up the stairs, now turned into an angel. I’ll love and miss you forever, baby girl.

Yesterday was the 12th anniversary of Miss Susie’s Gotcha Day. She was about a year old when we adopted her from the shelter. They had found her running loose on the streets & estimated she’d been out there for a month. I'm so glad we have been able to give her a loving family & look forward to more

I give up trying to understand the weather this winter. Places in Alabama have had more snow than us, the temperatures have been all over the place, and now its really warm for 11pm on February 2nd.
