As I look back, I realized, I would struggle and become demoralized when seeing the other kids who "just got it." All the while, not realizing that they might have been struggling too, or had extra help in the form of a parent or tutor.

In the US, I'd say we have a big false dichotomy problem with math (and by extension tech) that says you're either a "math person" or you're not. So by a young age you just stop trying. It's like we are brought up to believe everyone is either John Nash or someone who can barely comprehend Algebra.

As someone who went into tech as a career later in live (even though I was always very comfortable with computers growing up), this was the case for me. If anyone had asked me in high school, my first thought would have been "well, I have a hard time in math classes, so no."

I agree. The Escapist -> Second Wind seems like a good blueprint (not without its own problems, but they are still kicking). Definitely not easy, an probably not viable as sole income for the whole team in the short term. But brand recognition is high and they probably entice people to follow.

So, I deep cleaned my PC for the first time after five years of use. Also upgraded storage and coolers. Very happy with the results both performance-wise and aesthetically!
