Happy book birthdays to three of our lovely Midsouth authors! Let’s show them some love. Scott’s book comes out today, and Kimberly and Jack’s books released on the first!
First photo is a yellow gradient background with two photos overlaying: on the bottom right is regional director Scott Soeder and in the top left is a photo of his latest book, “Pup and Dragon: How to Catch the Easter Bunny” a graphic novel by Alice Walstead and Scott. This book launches today and is newest in a series. Slide two is a blue gradient background with a photo in the top left corner of Kimberly Dana and her book in the bottom right called “Millie & Mina” by Kimberly Dana & Farida Zaman. The book cover shows two girls, one a young white girl in pigtails and orange overalls and big round glasses holding out her hand to the other girl, a brown girl in a teal blue hijab with a jean jacket and red converse. The two stand on a green lawn with yellow flowers.Slide three shows Jack Foster in the bottom left, illustrator of the book “Mary the Missionary: a Kenyan Adventure” written by Yvonne M. Morgan. The cover shows two black individuals walking along a dirt road, one holding a baby in a sling, walking in colorful green and blue garments with baskets on their head, watching a young white child with bright yellow pigtails run with a basket on her head.
