iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Ruk Zan dreams of a life where the crew doesn't need to stress about if they'll have money to eat. Zilq dreams of maybe having the ship pivot to joining the burgeoning survey corps and discovering new things rather than scrapping old things. José's problem is he doesn't know what that looks like.

FA being told by advertisers that the most mundane of art is just too risqué to work with should be a good indicator why trying making your fandom squeaky clean to appease people, who will never be happy, is a shitty idea

please support FA it is one of the last sites of the old internet, before algorithmic recommendations and other big tech-influenced decay spread its tendrils into every nook and cranny in search of maximum shareholder value. it is such a unique feeling to run into furry art from 20+ years ago.

Last night we lost our landlord... And as a millennial, it's weird to say I am devastated. He was a genuinely kind, compassionate, and lovely soul and we've had the pleasure of knowing him for almost a decade... His family is taking over. Also lovely people, my heart goes out to them...

Zilq got blackout drunk at one of the most infamous pirate bars in the galaxy... he and Ruk Zan slept with a bunch of the patrons in a whirlwind night of debauchery. Ruk Zan was at least sober enough to chaperone him, but he still went along with it...

Yesterday got the sudden urge to begin a quick little thing for @timopatton.bsky.social featuring his Halo characters cuz why not :D (Fun fact: It’s been bizillion years since the last time I had done anything related to Halo. I also forgot the existence of the Spectre as a 4 passenger vehicle ._. )

First panel: Getchi (the Jackal) is at the top of a malfunctioning Spectre performing a cry of dominance while being observed by Yibble (the Grunt). Buoyant Enough (the Engineer) is at the rear of the Spectre, next to a column of smoke.

Second panel: Yibble yells at Getchi "Oh my gosh, Getchi! For the fifteenth time, STEP OUT OF THE SPECTRE!". Getchi then turns around and notices Buoyant Enough and Phama (the Elite) who are both at the rear of the Spectre trying to fix it. They are all in the middle of a desert.

Drawtober 1 - Sniff In case it wasn't clear from the size of his snout, Lôf has an excellent sense of smell! He could track a person or an animal from miles away! Of course this talent is perfect also for finding truffles, maybe him and Arno can get some good money out of this! :P #furry #anthro

A large wolf-like creature named Lôf is sniffing the ground looking for truffles, while his human boyfriend Arno is excited at the prospect of selling them.

José observes the Day of the Dead with his family, even if it's just a very bittersweet video call. He also taught the crew about it, and Halloween! Zilq dressed up as an 18th century human pirate. Ruk Zan didn't dress up but did decorate with handmade decorations! The crew loved the candy.

A lot of people assume FA is profitable. If that were the case we wouldn't have needed a GFM when Neer passed to keep it out of probate. It's been two years. The funds were used. FA is struggling financially. And I am 🌟s t r e s s e d🌟 I'm scared to ask for help, I feel like no matter how much-

FA regardless of your personal feelings, is the core of the fandom and losing it would mean YEARS AND YEARS of art, messages, pages, and memorials for people that have passed, would be gone. We CANNOT allow ourselves to rely simply on sites like bsky, twitter, insta, etc. etc. to be our defaults.

Ordinarily I would save these for WIP Wednesday but the silly was too good to pass up. The former is my OC Resk who I'm customizing to more closely resemble the Halo Reach and CE Kig-Yar models. The latter is an Anvil Accord Jackal in a mixture of marine BDU and Kig-Yar combat harness.

Many of the trans, therian, plural circles that I run around in prove time and time again that it really is as simple as existing in a space that isn't a harmful stereotype and giving people space to explore "wait, theres a word for that?" Its just the "left handedness chart" but for other things.

The "social contagion" thing drives me screaming angry. When I was young I had no clue trans ppl existed. I'd never met anyone trans. I saw cruel caricatures in pop culture occasionally. When I realized trans was a thing someone could be, it hit like a lightning bolt. My life felt newly possible.

DoorDash has ripped off more than 260,000 NYC delivery workers. We’re making them pay $131.5 million — the largest worker settlement in City history. This is New York, where hard work pays and greed will cost you.

DoorDash messed up.
They repeatedly left more than 260,000 NYC delivery workers underpaid or paid late, causing them immense stress and financial difficulty.
That's unacceptable.
We've secured a $131.5M settlement from
DoorDash - the largest worker settlement in NYC history and largest delivery worker settlement in
American municipal history.
Every worker will be paid what they are owed, and every company will be forced to abide by the laws of this city.

LOGOS:
The OFFICE of the MAYOR of NYC
NYC Consumer and Worker Protection
