The Facial Expressions of Tethys by artist Julius von Bismarck. A suspended high-sea buoy that moves in real time. Sensors on a twin buoy out in the Atlantic Ocean send live satellite data to motors inside the museum. This makes the indoor buoy copy the exact, real-time movements of the ocean waves.

Very good question! The strong arms are actually primarily for digging, similar to how moles will have huge front paws. As for predators: bears, direwolves and wild dogs will seek shelter in caves and not say no if that cave contains an insect-eater shaped meal. Thanks for the question! ^^

Back on my bullshit (I never left the house) Let me introduce you to the aptly named insect-eater, a creature that lives in caves, scoops insects up by the mouthful with its tongue, and packs a mean punch with those front legs #creature #worldbuilding #digitalart

A fantasy creature whose closest irl reference is a komodo dragon or a dinosaur like the stegosaurus. It is covered in scales, has mighty front paws with sharp claws, and feelers coming out of its snout.

Fullbody of the creature and sketch of the head with its mouth closed and open in the background. The features most reminiscent of a dinosaur is the creature's tail, the end of which is broad and flat, like the head of a cudgel. The creature's mouth is large and the tongue has side flaps that make its head double as wide as the tongue proper.
