Getting around to doing the Endwalker role quests, and much of the melee dps quests seems so familiar. Silent probably feels a lot of mixed emotions and memories during this particular line of quests.

Silent both respected and loved his mother greatly. Though tough, Keen Daughter raised him alone, and taught a young Silent how to protect and provide for others, helping him foster his strength of body and character in his early years. Silent owes much of who he has become to her. #silentqotd

Silent doesn't have the razor instincts to tell when somebody is lying to his face that others do, but he can become keen if the liar clearly acts suspicious. Silent generally assumes that people will speak the truth. If Silent notices a lie, he will call it out immediately. #silentqotd

Silent does not ever lie, not even to tell a white lie, or one that would offer him an advantage. He makes it a point to never speak something that is untrue, and will prefer to say nothing if he is pressed to lie. This has gotten him in trouble, but Silent believes in 100% honesty. #silentqotd

Had to take last-second (low-effort) GPoses for the summer event before it ended.

Cleared Dancing Mad (Ultimate) earlier. Overall, I don't think fondly of the fight. P3-4 arena is samey and bleary, the music is a loop of The Decisive Battle for seven minutes, a major mechanic is nulled by standing still and tank LB3ing. I do like the movement of P1 & rhythm of P2, though.

No. His aim is not something that Silent has trained, preferring close range weaponry such as swords or lances. Missing an eye means he lacks certain spacial cues, so he might need to focus more intensely or even take 'aiming' shots to get a feel for things, which Silent dislikes. #silentqotd

Silent has a tolerance for pain. He has lived on the field of battle for decades of his life, and being a frontliner means he often receives the brunt of damage and has gotten used to physical pain to an unnatural degree. Only after he becomes entirely incapacitated will he buckle. #silentqotd

Silent possesses average running speed among Roegadyn. Most of his distance traveled comes from his large gait compared to the actual speed of his movements. However, he has very, very high endurance, and is strong enough to run even while weighed down by exceedingly heavy armor. #silentqotd

Silent is an incredibly proficient swimmer, able to swim for malms without ever tiring. He is even capable of swimming in full armor should the need arise. Obtaining the Kojin's blessing has only increased his aquatic prowess by enabling him to breathe underwater indefinitely. #silentqotd

Silent's vision is actually not great. Missing an eye, he also suffers a lack binocular cues and depth perception, partly why he does not prefer ranged weaponry such as bows. If he focuses deeply, he can feel streams of aether which he instead uses to aim and guide spells. #silentqotd

The complete opposite of what he is normally. Talkative, as well as rough and clumsy until he fully wakes up. He can be coaxed out of it by conversing with him to help him realize he isn't making sense, or forcefully snapped out with stimulation such as a loud noise or cold water. #silentqotd

Silent sometimes has nightmares/night terrors, as does almost anybody. He's seen and done a lot of traumatic things in his many years. He doesn't let them get to him though. Depending on when they happen, he may try to go back to sleep, or just accept that it's time to wake up early. #silentqotd

If Silent felt groggy, he would likely just bear it and go through the rest of the day that way. He would be more irritable than normal for a bit, but he would not want to go back to sleep and risk throwing off his rhythm/schedule. Within a few hours, the grogginess would wear off. #silentqotd

Most of the time, Silent does not sleep with many pillows or blankets. I like to headcanon that Hellsguard produce lots of body heat, so while sleeping he does not cover himself, or else he quickly overheats. While on expeditions, Silent has grown used to sleeping with little comfort. #silentqotd

Silent rises from sleep at exactly 8AM ET every day, as his internal clock is extremely precise. As for waking him early, Silent is a very deep sleeper, and requires a lot to rouse. If it's urgent, enough panicked screaming (or cold water) will jump-start him and put him on high alert. #silentqotd

Silent would rather not die, but he knows that it is an unavoidable part of living. For this reason, Silent is not afraid of dying, but he does worry and possibly fear about what could happen after he dies if he is no longer around to personally protect the peace that he fought for. #silentqotd
