www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/jump-for-jax Hope it is okay to share this. My sister-in-law Jackie has stage 4 cancer and I had to give up work, a wonderful part time job that she loved doing. Life has changed immensely and we are just raising a bit of money to help with her transition.

I thought we all saw this coming from the start. Trump’s first win felt inevitable, but the second? I refused to believe it could happen. The damage was obvious—environmental, financial, legal, and beyond—was always obvious. Now, here we are. www.rawstory.com/paul-krugman...

After dealing with the ‘expert’ opinions on Facebook and the like, where ignorance seems to reign supreme, stepping into Bluesky is like finding an oasis of intellect. The thoughtful conversations here really melt my heart—it’s like finally leaving a circus for a symposium!

Huge win for Spurs. Bergvall, Odobert excellent, Maddison and Son stepped up, third goal was peak Angeball. But that final half hour showed how crucial it is that Van de Ven stays fit.

Labour reviewing the welfare system intends to adjust benefits in the future, not implementing immediate cuts. The £6 billion figure not a confirmed target, changes to PIP and Universal Credit still under consultation. phased in reforms based on further analysis not abrupt reductions. Let’s wait.

2016 a turning point- Trump & Brexit. If Putin wanted to weaken unity, those were the best ways to do it. Brexit divided Britain, pulled it away from the EU, desperate for trade deals, Trump weakened NATO, then attacked allies, let Russia do what it wanted. How to destroy Western cooperation.

Rishi mate, the issue wasn't the slogan. The issue was that your plan did not actually deal with the issue. You had expensive policies, the most ridiculous laws (defining Rwanada 'safe'), but made no attempt to process the backlog, nor work with other countries, nor any attempts to stop any boats.

“We’re at a crossroads in history” Starmer truly has stepped up this week, even his harshest critics can surely admit that. He’s come into his own as a diplomat and it’ll likely do Britain good in the long run. I’m starting to feel much more more hopeful about the UK under Labour’s leadership now.

It’s not a far right revolution. It’s radicalisation of the bored, entertainment for the privileged that simultaneously provides an illusion of power to those feeling powerless, it’s a hook in an era where hate and attention is currency. It’s a ‘one size fits all’ con.

UK gilt markets have improved, partly due to the Bank of England easing quantitative tightening and U.S. political relief. Oddly, this good news remains underreported, despite past criticism of the chancellor.
