Something I've been working on during my spare time is a classic Point'n'Click style adventure game base in UE5. I was a fan of The Book of Unwritten tales back in the 2010s and loved the beautiful 3D visuals bundled with tight controls and wonderful anims. #pointandclick #adventure #ue5 #indiedev

Yesterday Nic made a delicious French toast breakfast. Cream cheese sauces lined on stripped colored brioche toast like candy canes, with a gingerbread flavored maple syrup, with a touch of cranberries. It was unbelievably good and not too overwhelming. I love him.

No idea wtf these are. They were growing on the annoying Honeyvine (Milkweed Vine)

And finally, the best thing that comes with Milkweeds. Monarchs. SAVE THE MONARCHS!!!! We have so many that are eating and cocooning. I'm looking forward to their inevitable presence in our yard. :)

Another bug popularly found on Milkweed plants are Aphis nerii, or better known as the Milkweed Aphid. They're so small, and I just don't have a Macro lens...yet. Some day. :)

Growing native Kentucky plants since early spring. Here we have the "Cinderella" Milkweed and it's community of insects. We have the Oncopeltus fasciatus or Milkweed Bug. Could be mistakened at a glance as a kind of Wheel Bug.

I have to say...Crime Scene Cleaner is one of the best examples of Environmental Storytelling since SWAT 3 & 4. And I don't mean narrative driven on the rails games. SWAT 3 & 4 (Fairfax Residence comes to mind) showed that good story can be told in games that mechanically wouldn't expect them.
