I saw one of these at a garage sale this past weekend and regret not buying it.

weighing my iPads to see which one I’m going to bring with me on my flight this week. Everyone does this right?

just a PSA, never trying to be a dick or an antagonist. I’m posting from a geniunely interested technological oriented place.

Given the current materials constraints of foldable displays, what exactly did you expect Apple to do differently? Invent an entirely new class of display material first? Because otherwise I’m not sure what the “red flag” is beyond Apple being subject to the same physics as everyone else.

000

Josh @saxtechsolutions.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

it appears so, he's gotta up his performative outrage technically reductive game if he's gonna keep at it.

010

Josh @saxtechsolutions.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

acting like this wasn't already a known issue with basically every foldable is weird. the inner display literally has to bend, and creasing/wear over time comes with that. making the wear layer replaceable seems more like Apple designing around the limitation than some huge “admission.”

Josh @saxtechsolutions.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

uh extensions and piholes still exist but yeah, thanks for the aggro tip.

going through this list, and realizing how many of these films are only available on DVD and some are only available on VHS, makes me wonder why letterboxd put them on the list...how is the average person going to watch ANY of this.

this Firefox redesign might be the straw that breaks the camels back…I’ve been toying with chrome for a bit already, might be time to just make the switch.

Josh @saxtechsolutions.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Zandalee?? I'm glad the article actually acknowledges how messy that movie is, almost feels like the characters are written to be aliens learning how to navigate human emotions.

This UI is so cartoonishly ugly. wtf were they thinking??

010

Josh @saxtechsolutions.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

always been suspicious of the guy since watching The Hunt and smoking a cig with him beforehand

010

Josh @saxtechsolutions.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

thankfully, I haven't had to much work to the menus. using native SwiftUI components for the toolbars meant that adjusting to the Duo layout was really easy, everything has mapped over very nicely. a lot of my weird UI polish is views expanding behind the new toolbarVerticalEdge and spacing.

Josh @saxtechsolutions.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Haven't posted much about Trophikos lately, but I've been busy! Lots of UI polish to make everything look great on the Duo! Still got a ways to go, and making some nice, meaningful upgrades to Logging too... #BuildInPublic #iOSDev #iPhoneDuo #SwiftUI

how long does it take him to squeeze into those jeans?

011

Josh @saxtechsolutions.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

wtf that's so awful. they literally wanted you to commit a lil lite fraud.

Josh @saxtechsolutions.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

wow, it only took 3 whole hours to convert a prepaid phone line into a postpaid one! Thanks T-Mobile, what a great use of my time.

Kentucky Route Zero is still the pinnacle of storytelling and world building for me. Disco Elysium and Norco come very close tho.

2004/2005 were extremely important to teenage me. HL2 and RE4 scratched a very specific itch my teenage brain, I still replay those games every few years. Shadow of the Colossus made me realize video games and technology are a kind of magic.

Josh @saxtechsolutions.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Had to really sit and think about this. I picked my absolute favorite or most important entries for Zelda, Pokemon, and RE. Otherwise I picked based on how formative or important some of these games have been to me. #my9games

The anti-fatigue floor mats + a good pair of supportive shoes makes working at my standing desk for hours a breeze.

Perfect Sunday morning, making progress through Castlevania: SoTN thanks to Gamma on my iPad Air. It’s kind of amazing to me still that Apple finally opened up and officially allowed emulators on the #AppStore.

020

Josh @saxtechsolutions.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

No. Now pay me for my research and time please.

000

Josh @saxtechsolutions.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

wow, I am not beating the stereotypes here

030

Josh @saxtechsolutions.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

i actually don't think it's very cute and looks bland and lifeless like everything that comes from within the hallowed, soulless empty shell that is Meta.

030

Josh @saxtechsolutions.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Yup, tried mobile, desktop, WiFi, cell connection, all the major browsers, and even private tabs. Nothing. GMG is busted af.

000

Josh @saxtechsolutions.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Can you actually log in to GMG? Couldn’t log in yesterday…

100

Josh @saxtechsolutions.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

010

Josh @saxtechsolutions.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

@greenmangaming.com hey, so like you run an e-commerce website and no one can login…yall gonna fix that or do you need some dev help?

110

Josh @saxtechsolutions.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

oh cool, great, no big deal, another OS to support. perhaps they’ll be willing to give us access to the SDK right away when this gets announced…

010

Josh @saxtechsolutions.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

The audacity to drop the 27.1 SDK this afternoon, as I’m getting ready to go away for the weekend 😞😭😭

010

Josh @saxtechsolutions.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

000

Josh @saxtechsolutions.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

I am so confused, why are we jumping to 27.2 when 27.1 is still an upcoming release?? #iOSDev #BuildInPublic

With yesterday’s launch of Trophikos 1.1.0, I did something a lil sneaky, I dropped the Lifetime Premium unlock from $9.99 to $1.99! Go grab it while it’s still on-sale! #iOSDev #BuildInPublic #AppStore #iOS27

I concur, doesn’t feel improved like I hoped it would.
