woo here's a wip :3 it IS hot, trust him, gege

In the meantime, San Lang truly began to appear a little affronted. As Xie Lian promptly readied another apology, he was hit with an ardent protest. "Insensitive?" he echoed, indignant, then rubbed his forehead, sighing. "Gege, instead of concluding things all on your own, talk to me next time, and I promise to do the same thing. Running in circles is going to wear us out otherwise."

Xie Lian was promptly awash with confusion.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean…" San Lang trailed off, his gaze travelling to regard tulips as though hoping they would help him select his words. "I mean that you being able to carry me with such ease and grace is not insensitive. It's quite impressive, actually, and, well, hot."

I finally finished! I tweaked a few spots since I posted the WIP, but I enjoyed putting a modern twist on #Hualian. My favorite part was XL's bag of burnt cookies 🤣 Fun fact, originally I wanted HC at the front door with thousands of flowers behind him as his V-day gift~ 😂🩷 #TGCF #天官賜福 #花怜

Hualian in Valentine's Day in a modern AU. They each have presents behind their backs and smiles on their faces. XL's holding a small bouquet of flowers and a bag of burnt cookies while HC holds a heart-shaped box of chocolates and a very large bouquet. A red string connects the two of them.

Xie Lian’s father is getting more and more insistent that he finds a wife. His mother is getting anxious over how many unsuccessful blind dates he goes on, matching him with someone new almost every weekend. XL can’t really describe why he’s so disinterested, he just likes his routine and his cat–
