Long ago, our family game night included randomly opening our Merriam-Webster dictionary, to find a word the other family members could not spell or define. Alternately, I’d read a word, give the definition, and see who could tell if it was made up. Hours of fun, remembered fondly.

Visits to the US are down from Canada for several reasons: tariffs, threats, and the Gestapo. Visits to the US from *everywhere else* are down for much of the same reasons. Tourism to the USA is going to tank - and eventually it will simply crash completely. Along with the whole economy

Thank you, that’s very kind. We talked about our options and if we must we could sell the family home. We will get through it, I’m building my small business here, in the hopes I can support us if needed, but it’s so sad to watch my husbands pain. At least we are safe, here in Italy. <hugs>

Anybody who lives in the US, and works in the public eye, should have the sense to know using your own name on a Russian email address could be misconstrued (even for innocent reasons - which I don’t for one second believe this is). So he’s *clearly* a moron without a lick of sense.

I am hopeful for many things, but I am not hopeful that the vast part of the US populace that remains unaware of the horrors on the horizon, will be allowed to see what the propaganda machine has successfully hidden - or that the apathy so common in the US can be easily nudged into action.
