we talked about how the trigun cast would react to finding a death note in the vw server

knives and legato would gladly kill people with the death note and not think twice about it. wolfwood, brad and elendira would also use the death note, but sparingly and more responsibly. luida and milly would not touch the death note because they're good people. rem is not, she's just a coward, and roberto just wouldn't want to get involved. meryl would not kill anyone with the death note but she's too investigative to not test it out somehow. midvalley and livio pick it up, see a shinigami, drop it and fuck all the way off. and sadly, razlo and vash cannot read </3

Humanlike creatures no bigger than toddlers crawled out of the gory remains of their monstrous android shield. Three emerged, wounded, but he knew there had to be more hidden within. The second the metal shifted as one approached him, Wolfwood flew at them and sank his fist straight down into one of their faces. The skull caved instantly, and he heard screaming. Over and over, he pulverized that feeble body until he felt another grab at his left arm. Effortlessly, he slammed the new one into the fractured floor with a mere flick of his own wrist. Beneath him the creature’s head immediately began to swell with blood, without Wolfwood even having to wrap his hand around its little neck. He still did. And it couldn’t make a lot of noise like that, Wolfwood realized later. So it was him who’d been screaming. “...kay?” The last of the three had almost stopped breathing. Wolfwood’s own pants and the small shakes of its chest made it hard to tell for sure. He kneeled over it, swaddled its fragile neck with his two massive hands and squeezed, feeling the feather light bones break but hearing only the blood roaring in his own ears, picking up where his screaming left off. “...wood?” Just as Wolfwood saw what had to be the final bubbles of air leaving its pint-sized body, its tiny hand tapped his arm for mercy – and he no longer saw this broken monster beneath him. He saw the kids at Hopeland. “Hey.”$

Wolfwood jolted. Sweat had started beading at his hairline.Shit, what had Spikey been yapping about? He felt blue eyes boring into head and it made him wanna shrink into his sweater.

Vash braced himself on Wolfwood’s shoulders and leaned back in. “Where’d you go?”

The fuck did he sound so concerned for? Wolfwood risked turning to raise an irked eyebrow at the blond (and it surprisingly felt fine). “I’m literally right here.”

“Whatcha thinking about?” Vash scooted forward and moved his hands off Wolfwood’s shoulders to the mattress beside them. It took the weight off those muscles, but it also meant Vash was practically pressed against him now. Feeling warmth against his ass like that had Wolfwood clenching the sheets.

“Nothing.”

Thankfully, Blondie didn’t pry for once. “Alright, almost done. Stay with me, okay?”
