Stop making memes about me
Picture looks like a white corpse from an old, olde painting coming out of a coffin. Or, maybe it's ironing it, it's hard to know for sure. It's really white, maybe it's a onesie with a mask. Anyway, it's a thing coming out of a coffin.

Caption.

Me: okay I've complained enough about this is time to put it to rest.

Horns! Pay attention
Sean instantly darted in front of Samantha. Was this the moment, he thought? Was this the prophecy? Samantha moved to one side and looked at the Devil, “I thought you’d be more, well, devilish, I suppose,” she said. The Devil stood and looked at her. He then pointed to his red hair and to his groin. “One. Same top and below. The mantle matches the fireplace. Second…” He pointed at the tufts of hair, “See horns! It’s obvious.”

There's a post doing the rounds about the Russian data centre. Leaving aside the fact I'd like it to be true, it's claiming Twitter has had a 50% traffic drop. Use your critical thinking
Think about this for more than 1 second and you'll realise how unlikely it is.

Aren't you lot supposed to have critical thinking? Does anyone really think 50% of twitter's global traffic comes from one data centre in Russia?

Critical thinking humans, critical thinking!

(Leaving that aside, it'd be great if it was true)

I will never ever date anyone who could have been born when my human was "sexually active." He was a bit of a slut, still is, and it's just not worth the hassle, and the risks far outweigh the rewards. Imagine, I meet ya parents and one of them is like, "oh, I know that twat. That's the moron that tried to pull me back in XX year". It's not worth it. Not worth it at all.

Praise for A Ghost’s Story by Lee Wilson
I enjoyed this so much! 😃 A fan of his writing, I knew I would.
Fast-paced, original and packed with creatures, fantasy and ghosts. I was constantly guessing where the story was going, never quite sure what was coming next — and I loved that.
With themes of good and evil, hope and futility woven throughout, this was another enjoyable and unpredictable read.
If you like something different that keeps you guessing, I’d definitely recommend this one! 👻📚

My human and I would like to thank everyone for an absolutely banging month. We couldn't have done it without the support and friendship from so many of you. I don't know how we'd survive the purgatory of existence without you all.

I quite enjoy writing Null. Today's words. As usual, very drafty. Expect typos #Writing I've already fixed two typos. Read through it twice, read the screenshot. Then read the alt text and finally saw them.
“One day you’ll have a choice. You and I at battle.”
Alice still thought this unlikely.
“I know you think it’s unlikely now, but soon you’ll be having fun.”
Alice thought that even less unlikely.
“We will fight and you will have a choice. The paradox keeps me alive; if it ends, I end.”
“Why would you be telling me this? Even if I thought I had a chance, why would you tell me?”
Null looked at Alice, with a smile, he held up a finger to his lips, not making a sound, just the single finger through the lips to tell her to shush. He walked over to Alice and took her hand, she allowed him to hold it in his. Alice would hate to admit it; she’d been alone so long his touch comforted her a little.
“Because, Alice,” he said. Null then squeezed her hand tightly; it started to hurt Alice was going to tell him to stop, but he moved his finger from his lips to hers. Alice understood, he could talk, she couldn’t. It was some kind of test she figured. “When they heal you in that room; it’s not really fully healed. It does enough to get you going again, but fall on let’s say, a hand, and it’ll shatter like the finest tea set.”
“And the battle?” Alice asked, she was aware Null have veered off course.
“Oh, yes. You’ll want to help me,” Null said and before Alice could react she was alone once again.

Review for Wilp

What is Wilp? Who is Wilp.
Stronger than God, the devil, luck, destiny or karma or merely a legend no one really believes in?

Sean bereft of his wife Laurna, destroys violently the man that killed her and then kills himself. He wakes to find himself changed. What is he?

Samantha, sent to investigate a strange and brutal death, seeks help from a changed Sean who leads her to a parallel world. A world familiar yet strange and populated with many beings impossible in her own world.
She discovers she has been recruited into a special division, the split crime department, that investigates incidents that cross the two realities.
Together they follow the trail of the suspect that leads to Sean discovering more about himself and the true nature of the parallel worlds and Wilp itself.

Wilp is brilliant. Well paced with new ideas and unexpected turns the narrative effortlessly pulls the reader through and to a creative, bizarre, very enjoyable and satisfying conclusion.

Wilp ties together Lee Wilson’s other books which makes it extra special and brings back some favourite characters from the other stories, it’s great to see the priest from A ghosts story return, Crystal from Outcasts and of course Lilith and the Devil himself.
I love this book, it’s fabulous. I don’t think I have read anything like it before, a really fresh story, leagues beyond so many that rehash the same old themes.
Having said that Wilp has it all, murder, violence, horror, death, mystery, lost love, vengeance, humour, heart wrenching moments, parallel worlds, succubi, pubs and the end of the world?
If you want to experience a completely new concept in fantasy, sci-fi, horror (it spans the genre’s without even blinking) this is it.
It would make a great film or even better a binge worthy series on Netflix.

I liked the way Outcasts weaves together different strands of horror — haunting, possession, the supernatural — without ever becoming predictable. That clever mix kept me on my toes, never quite sure what I was dealing with or what was coming next. It made the story feel fresh, unpredictable and thoroughly enjoyable.

The writing is sharp, intelligent and often darkly funny, with humour woven into some wonderfully bleak moments. The characters are relatable, human, flawed and believable, which made it easy to get invested in what was happening to them.

The pacing was another big win for me. It’s fast-paced without feeling rushed, and there are plenty of twists and turns. Interestingly, it didn’t keep me guessing in the way some books do — but that’s not a criticism. I was too busy being carried along by the story, enjoying it as it unfolded, to stop and try to work out where it was going.

And then there’s the ending. I absolutely loved it!
I didn’t see it coming, and it left me wanting more.

Thankfully, I’m already reading another Lee Wilson book, and I’m enjoying that just as much. Definitely an author worth reading, and Outcasts is a great book to start with.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
