iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I can’t resist reposting this.

Sounds good, but $2000 is a lot of money for many seniors. The average annual SS income for 2024 was less than $23,000, and that amount doesn’t include the deductions for Medicare. And with the inflation that’s about to hit the fan…

“I have a voice in my head that won’t shut up.” I thought everyone had a chatty voice in her or his head.

He did NOT write this post. It’s eloquent and well stated. It has full sentences and good punctuation. He isn’t rambling and speaking gibberish. I understand the post and I’m not SMH thinking, “What?” Who would be educated enough to write this post for him?

Hey #pedsky #medsky #idsky a group of us wrote this piece. How amazing it would be if y'all wrote op eds in your local papers opposing RFK and the other nominees who would be so terrible for the health of our patients too. Lmk if you want help. 👊 www.civilbeat.org/2024/12/rout...

I’ll be sleeping before midnight. But missing the ball drop won’t stop the inauguration.

I needed this humor before the ball drops tonight.

Will MAGA like Mike after the inauguration? Probably not.

A buying strike will be easier for me as a septuagenarian. I mostly need only essentials. But I’ll support small businesses the best I can afford.

Some humor to start the New Year.

My stomach wasn’t churning until today. Now I’m queasy and tearful. My denial coping mechanism for my emotions is gone.

Reagan took the solar panels down. The climate and the future of our planet haven’t mattered to Republicans since forever. Were Republicans ever pro-life?

I love this reflection of a blue butterfly! Here’s to a good 2025 with my Bluesky cohorts.

youtu.be/fn3KWM1kuAw This video made me smile and momentarily forget that I fear 2025. And I’m nostalgic for the song. And these robots have rhythm and can hear the beat. I cannot. Maybe I need to be a robot.

Former President Jimmy Carter understood the Bible and Jesus.

I’m cussing loudly and repeatedly reading this post.

I recommend seeing “A Complete Unknown.” The movie omits things like Bob Dylan’s conversion from Judaism (his daughter reportedly still is Orthodox) to Evangelical Christianity. But the movie covers a brief time period, alluding to his Judaism through the name (Robert Zimmerman) on his DL.

One exception: If you see a service dog without its human, he or she is needing you to follow him because his human needs help. His human may have fallen but can’t get up. (I hate those TV commercials.) But yes, do not play with him. Quickly follow him. He knows to lead you.

We leave abandoned stores and shopping malls sitting vacant to build new ones. We do the same with houses. Except for cities, we don’t build up. I’m sad and mad.

Jimmy Carter lost to Reagan in 1980 because Reagan committed treason by secretly negotiating with Iran to keep the hostage crisis going until after the election. Then Reagan and his trickle-down economics destroyed the middle class.

Former President Jimmy Carter was a big man from a small town. Trump is a small man from a big city.
