Sassy Quatch @sasquatch002.bsky.social · 28/09/2026I am grateful for the beautiful song of the chickdee, the sound of the school bus dropping neighbour kids home from school, and the squirrels dutifully gathering black walnuts for winter storage. Blissfully unaware of anything but their current tasks. 000

Notice the good, don't believe the constant talking heads feeding you fear and despair. Don't infect others with negative, remind them (and yourself) of the beauty of the world. Life is thriving, step outside and see. 132
Sassy Quatch @sasquatch002.bsky.social · 26/09/2026@holdmybooks.bsky.social my friend, I wish you didn't turn off replies just because you thought we didn't agree. We do need to talk about things, all of us. We all have a role to play, and blame from all angles will perpetuate this issue. Nothing but respect from me to you. Have a good one. 100

Understanding the whys of someone's actions can reduce our own emotional reactions, and help us work together to rebuild a beautiful country. 001
Sassy Quatch @sasquatch002.bsky.social · 18/09/2026Hope for the future, we are going to be alright, guys. I am 1.5 years into the same journey from a breakdown. This is just a moment in time, notice the good and understand the bad will pass. 010
Sassy Quatch @sasquatch002.bsky.social · 16/09/2026Beginning this year, I found and read all the Gabor Mate books I could find on Libby. So much insight into myself and why I do the things I do. He has this way to examine conversation with compassionate inquiry. I find myself using it more and more, and it has really reduced anxiety and friction. 110
Sassy Quatch @sasquatch002.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Nature sounds from the Midwest right now: Crickets (day) Nuthatch, Purple Finch, Blue Jay calls Red Squirrels chasing each other through the vast canopy Black Walnuts falling out of the trees with an odd thud on the ground 😂 And the breeze through the leaves, I can hear the direction and distance 100

Sassy Quatch @sasquatch002.bsky.social · 11/09/2026I was enjoying the beautiful sunset and examined the sky further. Lucky I did, I caught a rainbow, how awesome. I made a few myself this year in the garden, but natural ones are much more joyful. 000
Sassy Quatch @sasquatch002.bsky.social · 11/09/2026I was worried for a couple weeks when some of my plants were infested with aphids. I didn't want to use spray, after all I planted a pollinator garden. This is the first year in full bloom, and I was unsure of predators to keep the pests out. I just needed to be patient and let nature do it's thing. 200
Sassy Quatch @sasquatch002.bsky.social · 10/09/2026Therapy day. The most impactful thought has been about immobilization due to past criticism. I have things I want to accomplish, but someone's complaints have stuck in my unconscious brain, keeping a mental barrier from even starting what I want to do. I need to remind myself that the past is past. 000

Sassy Quatch @sasquatch002.bsky.social · 24/08/2026Except, every one of those people displays a completely different understanding of what was said, and the meaning of the message is never seen for what it was. The ego is crazy strong. 020
Sassy Quatch @sasquatch002.bsky.social · 24/08/2026I just witnessed the best example of how everyone has their own story of what's occurring in front of them. You say something provocative to a social media person and they rile their followers up with pitchforks. 030
