As a middle aged American, I never imagined it, either. Unfortunately, I don’t see anyone being willing to do what it takes to save our democratic republic. Business as usual has gotten us here, the government is kidnapping & murdering citizens on the street, & we are playing by the “rules.”

My major concern is that no matter what happens with the vote, these people are not going to give up power. And I feel like all of this with the ICC sanctions & support for Russia’s genocide are payment for the election tampering to come.

He added the sanctions & immediately granted additional support to Russia in their war on Ukraine. You’re absolutely right. He’s a war criminal, he knows it, and he is trying to disarm anyone who has any power against the dictators he’s aligning himself with.

Definitely agree here. Reasonable humans can listen to reason- & I really hope he is one. We could really use more reasonable humans in government on every level. Sigh.

I greatly appreciate the explanation & stance. Hard agree. I feel strongly that their attempt at feminizing him and linking him to the trans community is actually a strong pro. His trans support has been poor, for sure. We gotta get clear that all humans deserve our support & basic human rights.

Actually, I think this was always the plan, but they waited until after the winner was announced, “just in case.” And I’m pretty sure they would’ve done it anyway, if he had received the prize, because if they didn’t it would be harder to give Papa Putin all that help defeating Ukraine.
