It's likely a mix. expectations for the hardware performance were wildly over-sepculative, it's a solid upper-middle tier, not a RTX 5090 super machine that too many people rumor milled themselves into thinking it would be. and then the price tag being wildly inflated. yeah, it's unfairly doomed.

I got a Ubiquiti Dream Router 7 on Friday and have fallen in love with the hardware and software. It hits all the right buttons for home network nerdiness. Definitely adding another one of their APs to the mix and replacing the little switch i have with one of theirs.
