This weekend and this coming week are a series of "lasts" with my boy Koda. It's got me remembering the firsts. Like his first ball on his first day in his home. I wish it covered the pain of knowing I just started the defrosting of what will be his last breakfast on Thursday.

Koda was diagnosed on Dec 30th with an aggressive bone cancer in his front right paw and it has spread beyond his leg. There's no viable treatment options, and fighting more would only be cruel to him. Making him as comfortable as we can, but we know he'll let us know it's time soon. 😞
