Stumbled across this app icon while doing keyword research, and I'm still wondering how this app made it through App Review. Did the reviewer ever see Reminders/Calendar on their iOS 26 homescreen?

Just set up Coolify on a Hetzner Cloud VPS this morning and deployed a Forgejo instance with it and... it feels amazing! Now I'd really like to have some runners for CI, which either means more $$$ or more over-engineering or both. :D

TIL about `UIApplication.significantTimeChangeNotification`, a notification informing you about significant changes in time, e.g. on date change. Super handy for when your view needs to react to date changes! #iosdev

I’ve read that it can be beneficial to not use all 30 chars, but to focus on your main keyword instead, to give it more weight. Seems to be the case here. I’d drop planner and see what happens. Keeping it as-is will probably not change for the better anymore. Keep us updated! :)

It's about the ability to put a widget on your home screen right from the app. Currently on iOS you have to actively go to the widget gallery via the home screen, which requires users to know that your app comes with widgets.

Same! I did some research a while ago where I came across BeLight, who create Amadine (Vector Graphics) / SwiftPublisher (Publishing) which are amazing, super affordable tools, if you want to check out some alternatives. (Not affiliated in any way, just a happy user)

You can switch the device hub to be a compact window, which only shows the current simulator/device, similar to the size of the simulator.

I'm starting to feel a bit of “Liquid Glass fatigue". Everything just looks the same. I mean it's been this way before when devs stick to standard controls (which is a good thing!). I just feel like Liquid Glass emphasizes that because it's so... intense?

Interesting side effects: One creator did look up my LinkedIn and asked for a call because they occasionally need an app developer. Another one liked the idea so much that they wanted to connect me with an investor. Not that I'm looking, but a coffee can't hurt. #buildinpublic #indiedev

Launched my latest app three weeks ago, got 15 unique downloads since then. 🥶 Pretty grounding to be honest, but I know it doesn't come over night. Current focus: ASO and influencer outreach. I’m offering creators a promo code and ask them for feedback, anything else would be a bonus.

I kept an eye on the Defy for a while until I decided to try the Raise which I ended up returning. 😅 I love the idea of columnar though, currently waiting for a GB of the ai03 Altair to be fulfilled. 🤩
