Medusa's Demise Scrolling through photos on a Monday morning I noticed this one that I had taken earlier. It matched my mood, with its withered stamens and outstretched arm calling for help in her final moments. I went with the concept and added a cinematic feel. #plantphoto #plants #photography

#Galahs are remarkedly efficient foragers with a strong preference for seeds, frustrating farmers since they first tilled soil here. Unlike most birds that use carotenoids absorbed from food to colour their feathers, Galahs, like other #parrots, synthesise their own colour. #birds #photography

Salmon Ponds, #Tasmania. Established in 1861 its the oldest trout hatchery in the southern hemisphere. Originally built as a Salmon hatchery, once released, the salmon simply never returned. Trout on the other hand, like hanging about there, thrived and established themselves. #fish #photography
