Only people who've played Skyrim will understand why this is amusing. My boyfriend has always referred to pushing your follower in-game out of your way as "give them a gentle fus." As in "Fus Ro Dah." I've started calling the gentle tap Nimoy gives me for attention his gentle fus. Little stinker.

I decided to move the creepy Nimoy cursed Victorian child photo down a bit, and Command strips don't agree with my ancient hallway paint. So I moved the Milky Way mini diamond painting to cover the ripped off paint. All better.

We had to build a giant cheaply made tent for my boyfriend's father's birthday party tomorrow. We were supposed to have help, but that didn't happen. This was a pain in the ass and guaranteed it gets destroyed by wind and/or rain overnight. It was also a billion degrees out at the time.

On the ground is a crappy metal frame for the very top of a party tent. It's way bigger than we expected.

Crappy white party tent after it's mostly constructed. The wind keeps trying to take it away and it might succeed.

I haven't done square drill diamond paintings in a while. They used to be my favorite and now I'm regretting not having this one made with round ones instead. I've gotten used to them. But here we go. This one is gonna take me forever. I guess I'll take progress shots every so often.
