Since Friday, measles cases have soared beyond 100 in West Texas. 124 cases, with 15 hospitalizations, mainly in children & teens. All but 5 people with measles were unvaccinated. An unknown number of cases are below the radar.

Everyone who needs DEI earned their position through hard work. DEI is not for unqualified people. It’s for people who are overlooked despite their qualifications because the bigots doing the hiring are racist, sexist, ableist, etc. We shouldn’t fall for the lie that DEI is a bad thing. It’s not.

If you are a federal worker being offered a buyout, I would advise against taking it. Of course, this is a personal decision for everyone and it’s your choice. But these offers are a rush job. The legality is questionable and this admin does not keep to its word. They aren’t firing for a reason.

One thing you need to understand is that most people born in the US, of undocumented parents, don't have citizenship elsewhere either. You are effectively making them stateless people, with no legal right to live or work anywhere.

⚠️Trump’s withdrawal from WHO is unlawful until is is approved by Congress. The U.S. entered WHO via 1948 resolution passed by both houses of Congress. Trump WH’s unilateral action notifying the UN of US withdrawing violates US law because it does not have express approval of Congress to leave WHO.
