Ingenious feedback form. No matter how long you actually wait, Eversource can claim that people only wait up to an hour.
A screen asking the user to estimate how long they waited on hold to speak to someone. I have entered 240 minutes (which is accurate) but got an error message letting me know I can only enter a number up to 60

I'm trying to add more calcium to my diet and looking for non-dairy sources. Not sure how wise it is to ingest 1/2 cup of chia seeds. I've looked at most of the linked sources and cannot figure out where the highlighted text comes from
A screenshot of a Google search for "chia seeds calcium." The AI-generated response includes a serving size of 1/2 cup, and later defines 1/2 cup as two tablespoons

I have been really into making paper flowers out of old books. I made this one last weekend and I love it so much

This feels like @michaelhobbes.bsky.social bait
Two posters. The top one has a picture of RFK and a QR code to a 30 minute documentary. The bottom one has pictures of Dr. Phil and RFK and a QR code to an exclusive interview

I can excuse racism meme with the text "I can excuse complicity in genocide but I draw the line at a bad debate performance"

I've read a couple articles. Is your argument that she meant that it's a red herring in that it's a distraction from the threat of money/power, or a red herring in that it's a distraction from what's really at the root of those complaints? I see the latter, but I don't see the former
She continued, “When I hear people starting to complain about political correctness — and I understand why people might push back on it — but to me that’s a red flag, because it sometimes means something else. I believe being aware of certain sensitivities is not a bad thing. I don’t know how else to say it.”

This is not "politically incorrect" it's just incorrect. If we can't accurately label disinformation produced by "AI" we are really and truly screwed

One thing I've been noticing with these AI summaries is that these are not hallucinations like we've seen before: they're wild misinterpretations of the sources it cites.

I keep seeing Quora and poe. com (Quora's AI chatbot) in the "sources" for Google's AI overviews. Which doesn't fully explain why it's as bad as it is, but it certainly doesn't help
A Google search for 'foods ending in um'. The AI overview lists umeboshi, strawberry, cherry, orange and several flavors of Jell-O in the answer. The listed sources are a Quora post and and an answer from Poe, Quora's AI chatbot

I had never heard of Binkley so googled him and, uh, these search results do not bode well for his campaign
A screenshot of Google search results with three headlines. 1) ‘God spoke to me’: Ryan Binkley’s quixotic quest for the Republican nod, 2) 'Who is Ryan Binkley?' - Live updates - POLITICO and 3) an obituary for someone named William H. Binkley in the Lancaster newspaper

Today is one year since my friend Shoshi died. She loved dogs - had 7 of her own, and dogsit, boarded, and trained... probably hundreds. I'm not much of a dog person, but I met this absolute sweetheart at a friend's house today and spent half an hour petting her. Felt like a sign.
