Endo Surgery Update: Lots of anxiety this morning & a 5 hour surgery after that, here I am - awake & feeling okay! I'll have more info later but it seems to be a success, & whilst we know there's no cure, I'm looking forward to a life without pain for at least a long while 🥺💕

"It's just a headache." Migraines are far worse than headaches. They impact vision, feel skull-splittingly painful and make it impossible to function properly. They are debilitating, chronic and can last an awfully long time, even days.

The image is a flat-coloured painting featuring a dark skull. The skull is cracked and splitting, and a gilded sword stabs through the skull from head to jaw. Golden thorns pierce through the socket of the eye and the mouth to symbolize the pain being too intense to speak or see. The lines are intricate and gold, and the colours are dark with floral arrangements pushing out of a border.
