Yeah the issue is when I’m playing Trails for some reason people are extra defensive. 😭 I’ve never experienced it this severe in other games. I tried to tell people to stop debating and not making it so deep and then they got defensive over that. It was just a lot. 😵‍💫

I always worry about making people feel like walking on egg shells with super strict rules. I wish a rule that said “read the room” could actually work. 😭 But you’re right- it can feel very similar to backseating at times.

I just sort of fail to see the reason for people to be like “no this character doesn’t have the flaw you just mentioned actually and here is why!” when that’s my personal interpretation at that point of the game. I don’t know. 😔

agreeeeeeeeeed it's just crazy how many people actually feel that way 😭

SarahKey 🗝️ @sarahkey.bsky.social · 03/06/2026

i don't love realism in games in general just because it gives me an uncanny valley feeling that makes me uncomfy, but if you enjoy games like god of war and you won't play because you have to play as a woman you don't find "hot" that's just weird af

idk man i don't have to be attracted to the protagonist of a game to enjoy it

I have a very strong sense of justice and sometimes I do think speaking out is important. But yes, I need to be better about banning / blocking.

My three biggest scandals: 1. Shipping Aerith with Zack 2. Telling people to stop using AI to put me in a bikini 3. Telling people I will criticize a game if it has something problematic in it, but it doesn’t mean I hate it

SarahKey 🗝️ @sarahkey.bsky.social · 14/05/2026

I don’t use twitter nearly as much as I used to and mostly only use it to repost fandom art / going live / sponsored posts, but I was naive to think this could go over well. 😭

SarahKey 🗝️ @sarahkey.bsky.social · 14/05/2026

I mistakenly posted something along these lines to Twitter hoping it would help people understand the vibe of my stream better and leave if they don’t agree but instead I caused a whole controversy somehow. Never again.

i love trails game so much- they’ve literally helped me get my sparkle back but man it really sucks that they can be problematic sometimes, and when i call it out on stream people get upset with me 😭
