The latest episode of the Chaplaincy Chain Podcast is now live. A great discussion around what it means to be professional, behaving professionally and being recognized as a professional within systems and regulation. Thanks as always to our guests. chaplaincychain.co.uk/episode-9-pr...
The Chaplaincy Chain Podcast logo (headphones looking like chain links) and a purple background with the following headline 'Episode 9: Professional or Amateur? Rethinking Chaplaincy' and the text underneath 'Is chaplaincy only “proper” when it comes with a job description, salary and badge – or is professionalism something deeper? This episode dives into the tensions between paid and volunteer roles, training and formation, boundaries and holy ground, and invites you to rethink what makes chaplains truly professional.
