But the minute Co-Pilot tries to generate something it's all just slop, and I run the risk of my work having inaccuracies. Making these very different products one thing in search of higher and higher valuations poisons the well for regular people.

For example, within Microsoft products, some of their "AI" is just macros. Great, I'm not a coder, but I love when Excel does things with less copy/paste from me, or Powerpoint applies styles to a bulleted list.

Yeah, going through the physical motions is important. Writing or typing is giving your brain time to process words in a way speaking doesn't. Maybe many people would prefer to speak to text or do voice notes, but I don't think it's for everyone.

I finally lost my temper at my Mother-in-law saying that my wife's Dad was just "upset his opinions don't matter" and asked her how she'd feel if my "opinion" was that Catholicism isn't a real religion. She stopped carrying water for him after that.
