MS is a very tough state for Dems not just because of its lean but because there's very limited party infrastructure. The winning candidates did a ton of hard work, and groups like Sister District helped step into the breach. A great example of why Dems should never give up even in red states!

Last night, Republicans lost their supermajority in the Iowa Senate. Catelin Drey flipped one of the most conservative districts in the state, a seat Trump won by over 11 points. This should be a turning point for Democrats everywhere.

I’m so proud of Dems in the #TexasStateLegislature for refusing to back a gerrymandered map rigging the midterms for House Republicans. Even in deep red states, Democrats are showing courage and conviction and fighting for our democracy.

Earlier this year, #Democrats won by double digits in an Iowa district that #Trump carried. It was a clear sign: even in traditionally red areas, there’s real potential…if we show up. That’s why, for the first time, Sister District is endorsing in #Iowa!
