You'll probably surprise yourself with how much of your day is spent working. Then you can compare it to how much you made. Divide your income over the week by your hours worked. How much are you getting an hour? Would you accept that in another job? Are you underselling yourself? Most are.

Mark the end. Keep track. Imagine you're a lawyer that will have to send an itemized bill to a client.

Not saying anything new here but it's so infrequently appreciated that it bears repetition. Every second of content you see from a creator has far more time behind it. Every email read, every comment checked, every upload, every thumbnail, every social media post—it's all labor. And labor costs.

I ran 2 miles today and toward the end all of a sudden I was delighted to have Sarah's voice pop into my head saying "last run, best run... head up, shoulders back, tits out." I think that was it. And I think I experienced a runner's high for the first time. Even though she also says "I don't mean run faster..." I wanted to finish so I did actually pick up the pace at the end, which means I could probably go a little harder next time without gassing out.
