I am so glad that the rhetoric towards violence and sexual assult towards women is being put back on males pushing back on their male counterparts, however, I am always mindful that men are afraid of other men too. Lots of males inflict violence and sexual assult towards them too.

A gentle reminder that consuming horrific content until you feel debilitated by grief and trauma is not activism, and does nothing to help any victim anywhere.
It's ok to turn off the news. It's ok to not check in on the horrific Cornell case, or any other case.
The world is a better place when good people are functional, which is why there's so much effort to make us feel traumatized and miserable.
Volunteer at your local rape crisis center. Donate money to your local DV shelter. Sit with another survivor. There are lots of effective ways to get to work, and none of them involve sitting in your house traumatizing yourself.

Some wild comments on this post. Listen, if you think that sitting on your computer reading over and over each trauma story is activism, then have at it. But lots of folks live with serious trauma and doing this is harmful to them.

Dropping the resume off was a great first step. They ended up giving him a mini interview which he thought went well. Not sure it’ll go anywhere but he now has a resume and a willingness to walk in and take it to the manager himself.
