Yesterday I celebrated 24 years of marriage ❤️❤️. So thankful that my wife stayed. She has been treated to the best version of me. It certainly hasn’t always been easy, but it is worthwhile. Already well into planning our vow renewal next year. Going wedding dress shopping with my wife and bestie soon

My friend Joan stayed over on Friday night. In the morning the ladies were discussing our wedding picture and suddenly I am bringing up the dress. Unprompted my wife asks me I want to TRY IT ON. Day 2 of back in the office after a wonderful vacation. Camping was good but a bit cooler than I would have liked. Last week was amazing❤️❤️ I bought my bestie a plane ticket to come visit and had the best time with her. I was incredibly sad when it was time for her to leave. Wish she lived closer 🥺

A year ago I wore this outfit to say goodbye to my mom. It has been a bit over a year and I still miss her, still grieving. I hate that I never got the chance to get to know my mom as her daughter. She never fully understood but still supported me. She liked knowing I was happy. Grieving sucks😞

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. Finally a bit of a break from the heat so I was able to get out for a run. Was 43 with the humidex a few days ago. Not the fastest pace but was cool to be able to run that far. Still have a goal of 10k this year.

One of the joys of gardening is sharing that space with nature. Yesterday I was looking at our milkweed plant and found the big monarch caterpillar. Kept looking and found 11 small ones🥰🥰🥰 Then was looking on the dill and found 4 swallowtail caterpillars. It brings me so much joy and happiness 😊😊😊

Back working after a lovely week camping. Spent a good amount of time out in the sun, always wearing sunscreen though. More freckles to show for it, 😂. Had more people than usual wish me a good morning or say hello. I just love little things like that 🥰. Was hot enough for a swim every day🧡

Last day in the office and no more 5:45 am wake up. Had a nice bike ride to work, was happy it wasn’t raining. I’ll take it over the smoke though. Have peddled just over 500km so far to work and back.

Was out for a run yesterday plan was standard 5km. Somehow decided to convince myself to go for an extra lap. Ended up doing my longest run ever. Was definitely tired afterwards. Wasn’t sure how I would feel today but no aches or pains. Might make that a regular thing

Attended my first pride related event. We do a transgender rally and march here on the Saturday before pride. Have wanted to go but was just too nervous to go by myself. My friend Joan invited me to join her and her friend. Had the most amazing experience and was so glad to go. 💕💕 So much fun

Another hot day in store at least the ride in was nice. Hopefully the storms don’t arrive until I am home. Been tracking my rides this year. There wasn’t much wind so that was my best effort. The exercise is definitely paying off and I feel so much better on the days I get a cardio workout.
