I wonder how desperate the billionaires are to own letterboxd and how long it will take them to paywall tf out of it while continuing to plummet even further into (alleged) debt and which of said billionaires will get to boast they have the most sizeable (micro) button mushroom in the gc.

As a recovering Apple user, switching to Android (while not something I particularly wanted to do) is wild. I feel like I'm learning to use a device for the first time again. 😅

Trying to focus on reading on my designated reading day is proving rather difficult now that the neighborhoods' wildlife blatantly refuses to hush the second a book is in my hand. 😭

I will not be surprised if some of the local wild birds knock on my door on a random weekday to introduce me to their baby/babies.🥹

There are signs that a baby bird with an impressive set of lungs is both hangry and within close proximity to my window. 🐣

The more information the algo shows me about who is a potential buyer for Letterboxd, the happier I am about my decision to flee that hellscape before it had the chance to reach its full cesspool potential. Oof. Y'all be safe out there (y'all being the current users not the bootlickers).

I had to do a double take to ensure I did, in fact, just read a line of a book that said "... But no, I don't think I've ever considered actually dining out on lady parts before now." I definitely did read it correctly. I now fear this book is about to become one I simply hope is soon over. Bummer.

Clinicians and other health professionals really don't appreciate me asking for examples of how one can rest or relax. Which I presume may be because they don't actually know how rest nor relax... at least not in practice. I just quietly observe their brain breaking in real time.

I really dislike having to question if something I am reading is ai generated slop or not. Excessive, seemingly random chunks of bold text where it doesn't make sense is annoying even if it is human. Why are you emphasising a single word or few, then an entire paragraph on damn near every page? 🤨
