It's perfectly executed high fantasy full of strong women main characters, racially diverse, and a rainbow of queer identities (lesbian, NB, trans, poly, bi...) presented without fuss.

About halfway through this incredible beast and being reminded of exactly why it was Priory of The Orange Tree that made me love books as an adult. And this is even better. @samanthashannon.bsky.social, the author that you are! #ADayofFallenNight #BookSky #📚💙

Finished the first season of #BadSisters (Apple+). It's the ultimate "I support women's rights, but I also support women's wrongs." show and I'm a sucker for a good "sisters" story, especially involving an eldest sister who is always sacrificing for her siblings.

I just finished #DyingForSex. Full on sobbing. I'm always amazed by media where you know exactly how it's going to end and the ending still floors you. Such a beautiful show.

I, unsurprisingly, do not have the same picture endurance as a professional model.

Selfie of Pri and Heather. Pri is smiling and Heather looks very goofy, eyes closed and seemingly in emotional pain, but slightly amused.

Selfie of Pri and Heather, but Heather has given up and has her forehead on Pri's shoulder so only the top of Heather's head is seen

If you followed me Twitter, you know that I couldn't shut up about (amazing Brazilian lesbian webseries) #StupidWife since I discovered it. I've been lucky enough to get to know one of the stars, Pri Buiar, and got to hang out with her in LA in May.

LA recommendations needed. I'm going to be in LA for a couple of days next month. I won't have the time or energy to do much. But is there anything cool I should check out in the Santa Monica area? My idea of cool includes like ... A queer bookstore.

Well ... I should not have watched #ThePitt 1x08. Not even a "wow good drama made me cry". Just straight agony. Cried so hard I puked, 100% would have skipped the whole show (which has been great) to not have watched that.

Putting this out there again for new followers, I don't automatically follow everyone back for a couple of reasons: - currently there are a lot of trolls/bots. - I'm not interested in just being a number. I WILL follow you back if you interact with me in any way.
