honestly it might be worth trying the subscription for a bit just to see which newer features u even like/use; and then going for whichever perpetual update has those features. Even if it's the newest version! That way u still get to keep ur ver 1 as well

The layer comps are the only thing I even kind of give a shit ab in 3.0 and im not gonna do a whole update JUST for that. Things I've liked from ver 1 to 2 have been the ability to set multiple reference layers, liquify multiple layers, and fuckin. moving. the selection launcher options OUTTA DA WAY
