For the record: only one of these is even remotely furry-related. Also for the record: I am not saying anything about the validity or importance of whatever is going on. It's purely that it's not a load that I want to or can carry, especially not right now.

I join a new community: intense drama. I go to an important community I've been a part of for years: intense drama. I have one wholy safe community left that I hold very close to my heart. I really freaking hope that won't devolve into drama too.

Going to comic con next week, alone. Kinda nervous. I want to try fursuiting for the first time. Have had my suit for months, it's about time. But last time I was at comic con it was a disaster for my mental health, and I'm really nervous about suiting tbh. Don't know what to do or expect really

Foxes In Love @foxes-in-love.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

A comic of two foxes, one of whom is blue, the other is green. In this one, Green looks at Blue as Blue is dramatically laying down on the floor.
Blue: You can go ahead and go to that party. I'll just be here by my self, alone.

Green looks at Blue with a frustrated frown, as Blue sticks his tongue out while making a disgusted face.
Green: You could also come with me.
Blue: I don't like people.

Green raises an eyebrow.
Green: Don't I count as "people?"
Blue: Of course not. You're the love of my life.

My therapist wants me to distance myself from furry stuff again, for the sake of my mental health and stability. And over the past few weeks I've been doing so, but not gonna lie, it also stings. But seeing furry stuff on its own stings again too, and I hate hate HATE that it does.

I cosplay Cat Noir myself in real life. In fact, he's the first character I ever cosplayed. So to see my fursona looking cool as heck being the same superhero is so awesome. I couldn't be happier with the result!!

Is it normal that half the time when you open Barq it just doesn't load? Or is that specifically a me problem? I have done everything I can to get the app working properly without otherwise compromising my security, but because of that I cannot tell where the issue lies here.

Pride Walk in Amsterdam today was so nice!! Walked with trans friends and flags, carried a funny sign, the positive queer energy from the whole crowd really did me good. (And yes my furry badges were hanging off of my backpack. No reactions from people, but still.)

Some transgender people see only darkness in front and behind them. The current climate is especially accelerating this. Transgender people just want to love the people they love and live their lives as themselves. Let's all join hands and change the world🫶🌏🫶

My look for Furgroove last weekend. Since it was my very first furry event and I didn't know what to expect, I just went with a fairly casual outfit. Still, turns out my favourite yellow top matches Nightfall quite well 😊

Photo of me poodling. I'm wearing a black and yellow wolf fursuit head, with yellow handpaws with pink beans and a black tail with a yellow tip. I'm wearing a tight-fitting mustard yellow top that exposes some midriff and a pair of light blue baggy jeans. I'm posing with my body turned to the side a bit, my hips stuck out and my paws up next to my head in a playful manner.

Selfie made on a selfie stick of me with Fluxian. Fluxian is to the left holding the selfie stick and is wearing a cardboard box fursuit head covered in stickers, along with a lot of badges around his neck. I am wearing a yellow and black wolf fursuit head along with a yellow crop top.

I'm sorry you're struggling with that, I hope it does return for you. For me tho, being horny all the time was a legit problem. To the point it was an active hindrance. The loss of libido was such a massive relief. With it now returning, I can feel it instantly retrigger old pain points too.

Because as it stands, I feel kind of conflicted. Not to mention, it's impractical, with me needing to remember to never open the app while on protected wifi networks (and I hope that will do the trick, and that background activity alone won´t re-block me).

000

Sandy Stabyhoun 🐶🏳️‍⚧️ | 🔜 CCH, Flüüfff @sandyhoun.eurosky.social · 06/07/2026

I try to not get into this on this account, but I am involved in journalism and activism. I need my data to be protected. I understand you need to protect the app against scammers and cyberattacks, and I understand Barq has a small volunteer-run team, but there have to be better ways to do this.
