I have a piece in this! I didn't have a memory card for the first couple of weeks owning a PlayStation and I was bad at Resident Evil 2, so I saw Claire's exchange with Kendo loads of times! Check out the full zine. It's got comtributions from tonnes of skilled artists.

If I'm spending £50, I want something in my hands to show for it. I don't want a license that can be revoked attached to an account that can be hacked or banned. I don't want to rely on a download from a server that won't always be there. I want a disc I can put in any @playstation.com and just play

Wait. Microsoft have laid off Halo Studio (the artists formerly known as 343) to move the IP to Activision who are then going to (checks notes) form a new team, separate from Call of Duty, dedicated solely to Halo. ... they had one of those. It was called Halo Studio.

And while I'm here, let's do manga too because, yes, that is a slightly different list (though some series appear on both).

Dragon Ball, Fullmetal Alchemist, Bakuman, Negima: Magister Negi Magi, Time Paradox Ghostwriter, Ironfist Chinmi, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, Bleach and Akira

Dragon Ball Z, Tenchi Muyo: Ryo-Ohki, Outlaw Star, Bleach, Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day, Yu-Gi-Oh, Bakuman, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Lycoris Recoil

I had to stop lane swimming in April due to health issues. Tonight, I did a session to dip my toe in the water, see if new medication is helping. I did half as many lengths and only lasted two thirds of the session with a slower pace and higher SWOLF, but I did it. (April's stats for comparison.)

Me looking knackered in a swim cap and goggles

Tonight's session. 1,000m in 37 mins 52 secs, SWOLF of 75

April 21st's session. 2,000m in 59 mins 5 secs, SWOLF of 62

Some prime Charmy Bee roasting in Sonic the Comic's The Hive Part 1.

Panels from Sonic the Comic.
Panel 1: Charmy Bee is being kidnapped as Sonic the Hedgehog watches through a window. Sonic: What? That's Charmy, it looks like he's being kidnapped!
Panel 2: Sonic thinks to himself. Sonic: Charmy Bee drives everyone crazy! If he disappears, nobody is going to miss him! All I have to do is walk away as if I haven't seen anything...
Panel 3: Sonic prepares to run after Charmy and his kidnappers. Sonic: Who am I kidding? I've got to help the little runt... Although I'll probably hate myself in the morning!

A panel from Sonic the Comic. Charmy Bee and Sonic the Hedgehog are standing next to each other. Charmy: Aw, the guys just pretend that I get on their nerves... Sonic (thought balloon): Poor mistaken fool!

I really appreciate when a series goes out of its way to make sure the entire thing is available on modern platforms, especially when it's an ongoing interconnected story. (Sadly, I don't think we're getting a Metal Gear Volume 3 with re-releases of Portable Ops, Rising, Ac!d and Twin Snakes)

No kidding. This is a slide from a panel I presented at Sonic Fanfest in June showing how ridiculous some of the prices have become. (Also, for funsies, a slide comparing a panel from the old StC Archive project and the new Rescan Project.)

A slide titled "Buy Why Though?" It shows an eBay screenshot of sold Sonic the Comic listings ranging from £25.04 to £61.04. The slide text reads, "The rights holders have no plans for an official re-release. Used copies of the physical comics are very expensive. The comic is somewhat geo-blocked, being harder to find outside of the UK. This was an amazing continuity and universe that more Sonic fans should get to enjoy"

A slide comparing the same panel of Knuckles the Echidna from the StC Archive scans of Sonic the Comic and the new Rescan Project. The new scan is higher resolution and much clearer.
