When asked about his life underground, Wrasse paints a clear image of a nation separated by their desperation to survive, but united under their hatred for the Inklings. How they believed their combined hatred would be their salvation... Darker image and lighter bc I couldn't decide

I got my official autism diagnosis earlier this week! I have many thoughts but mainly how I wasn't imagining it when simple things seemed way too hard and that instead of being lazy and weak, I was actually quite driven and resilient 💪

Comic title: "At last". Panel 1: Nervous person holding a scroll is surrounded by people who are all making comments like "You need more practise!", "Just talk to the people!", "If you really wanted, you'd try harder", "You're too shy!", "You're too lazy", "You're complaining way too much!", "You're too privileged so you don't care!", "Other people do it all the time!", "I guess you just enjoy being like that", "You really gotta change your attitude!" Panel 2: Person calmly opens the scroll and it says "Autism Diagnosis". They are clearly releaved. Big text around then person says "Just let me be". The other people are quiet now.

I feel it's important to share this again. The internet is so hostile toward creators nowadays. I've seen people have their work stolen, and no longer feel comfortable sharing their creations. We can do better. Let's be supportive to the people that make this a better place! 💞

Sorry for being so quiet, I have been trying to figure out how to move forward in my life with art still meaning a lot to me. Today is a special day, so I drew this and tried a new way to render hair. Seems like it's a hit, so looks like I'mma keep it <3 Happy Birthday, my best friend. #oc #ocart

I’ve know Edwin for actual decades now. We went to college together. We dont talk often & while I know he doesnt use AI at all, I do know hes one of many who’s had his work scraped given his prominence w/ Udon & Capcom Stuff like this illustrates how AI hurts us & our reps in ways beyond just theft.

Yeah, do not use AI detectors. This is kinda why I don't do any call outs or name and shame, there are far, far too many false accusations of AI use happening, and while I'll decline game when the artstyle doesn't pass my sniff test, the possibility for harm if I did put someone on blast is real.

keep this bookmarked for every stupid uneducated idiot who doesn't seem to believe that AI isn't scraped off of stolen shit they didn't pay for. I still run into people who genuinely don't believe it or think AI actually comes up with it all magically on its own

Fun story and potential tip for artists: find a load boarding follower or two. When my account was brand new and less than 10 people knew I existed I had one follower who would like almost every piece I made. I appreciated his support so much that my partner knew his screenname- 🧵

With ArtFight a week in please remember that if an artist does not revenge your piece it does not mean they are ungrateful or they hate you or your work isn't good enough. Real life is still going on all while AF is, so there are so many factors as to why they might not have gotten to it. It's okay

this is what artfight feels like to me

edited “they don’t know i’m (blank)” meme showing people dancing at a party with a guy in the corner holding a cup and a party hat. i’ve edited it so that he’s smiling mischievously, standing at a desk with a drawing tablet and a pen in his other hand. the text next to him says “they don’t know i’m drawing their ocs”

A feminine figure sitting at a table with a tea cup in one hand. They wear a big brimmed hat with a white veil that falls over one eye.
The background features a stained glass window that casts light over the image, and filters through the leaves of a small potted tree in the background.

Please Please Please Do not take Artfight too seriously. It's a non-obligatory gifting game. The points don't matter, it's all made up. Whether or not you get "traffic" on tiktok or whatever doesn't matter, all that matters is if the person you're gifting to likes it. And they should like it.

It's pretty simple... If you use AI to create art, then you're not an artist. If you use AI to write, then you're not a writer. If you use AI to make music, then you're not a musician. If you use AI to animate, then you're not an animator. If you use AI to make films, then you're not a filmmaker.

If anyone gives you art, gift or you paid for it, please view it as more than just a picture. Someone is giving you their time and a bit of themselves to you. Their thoughts and feelings are in it. They're vulnerable in front of you. It is not something trivial. Think about it.
