Used to enjoy popping in Stockport maplins when I worked for a shite firm over the road from it

I'm wondering if they abandoned some lines to try and make use of different memory types of all this AI b*******

To be fair to him, he didn't try to copy Holly Johnson, and he gave energetic performance. Saw this gig and a couple of others including Belgium

Samster @samsterdave.bsky.social · 9h

Sorry wrong link. That was his relax performance at Wembley

Follow up tour I mean

Quite a few but this was a fairly catchy version of a classic track, sung by the bloke who worked with part of Frankie Goes to Hollywood for the 2004 prince's trust concert at Wembley, but who let them down during a follow up your. Ryan Molloy with Phats and Small youtu.be/kLn9EWyjlpQ?...

Personally I thought it was good enough for a Smash for the 128 version. Even put that on my own tape :)

000

Samster @samsterdave.bsky.social · 23h

A very noticeable improvement and it was very easy to update

000

Samster @samsterdave.bsky.social · 23h

I managed to walk a few steps before collapsing

120

Samster @samsterdave.bsky.social · 23h

I know what you mean. I've had much more support web with my recent illness from my online friends then from anyone else

000

Samster @samsterdave.bsky.social · 23h

That is a fun game indeed

020

Samster @samsterdave.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

price and Cruella DeVille scary combination

010

Samster @samsterdave.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Just saying finding a good artist is possible with ai stuff

000

Samster @samsterdave.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

And some great pixel artists I've seen on bluesky. Is there some sort of list do you think? To promote them.

100

Samster @samsterdave.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Perhaps if was full in his addled brain

040

Samster @samsterdave.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

If I'm eggsact about who you mean, it is disappointing though. Although some of their games weren't my cuppa tea, they did some good work

110

Samster @samsterdave.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

I can't do it myself but is there a list of great pixel artists? I believe I have a few in my follow lists but I'm with limited access. Perhaps we can spam them out a bit?

010

Samster @samsterdave.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

I've seen some amazing real pixel artists on social, who'd be great at it. Haven't seen your work sorry but I'm sure you'd be much better than artificial idiocy art

Samster @samsterdave.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Think I had all the 48k and 128k versions. Great value. Music wasn't bad either

000

Samster @samsterdave.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Can't say I've ever played it

000

Samster @samsterdave.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Cool. Will get the updated one as the original is well read

Samster @samsterdave.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Using your mouse interface :)

Samster @samsterdave.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

And totally recommend your hardware! Will be back on the new Sam Arkanoid conversion once back from my break

Bloody great machine indeed. Happy to have owned one from the start.

130

Samster @samsterdave.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

There's some really good pixel artists who would have been happy to work with them. Honestly I'm very disappointed with it

Personally it wasn't as good as most of their c64 games even on the Spectrum.

Some of us still make them! I started 'SAM Revival' for the SAM Coupé back in 2002 as just a mono laser printed magazine. It's evolved over the years, now being full colour professionally printed. I still feature real physical cover disks! www.samcoupe.com #samcoupe #retrogaming #indiedev #8bit

The more recent issues of SAM Revival, now full colour.

What a great looking card in @flatduckrecords.co.uk's jukebox! I've listed the SAA1099P Soundcard (for RC2014/RCbus/compatibles) on eBay with a few pounds off and a few pounds to charity. The little SAM Coupe PCB on the soundcard is also available as a badge. www.ebay.co.uk/usr/quazar-s...

I seem to be interested in cartridges decades after they were cool! 😁 In 2019 I made an interface to use the ZX Spectrum ROM Cartridges on the SAM Coupe, following that later in 2022 with an interface to use VIC-20 ROM Cartridges on the SAM as well. www.samcoupe.com #SAMCoupe #ZXSpectrum #VIC20

ZX-ECUTOR interface for the SAM Coupe, to let it run ZX Spectrum ROM Cartridges.

VIC-20 Cartridge Interface for the SAM Coupe. Currently supporting 14 cartridges which are read in and run under emulation.
