never liked the phrase "you can't have your cake and eat it too". why would I have a cake if not to eat it. I've never met a cake I didn't want to eat.

Despair is surprisingly easy to succumb to. Recently, mostly at night before going to bed, my mind’s been filled with thoughts about how messed up everything is, how screwed we all are, etc., but all that mentality does is make us feel bad. It does nothing to help. (1/5)

9. Pearl Steven Universe. Once again I like her because she's very flawed and imo, has the best and most understandable motives for acting the way she does. She's doting to a fault, and also yearns for the past the most. Plus she has a cool weapon and abilities that I wish they did more with.

Have privilege? This is the time to use it. Trans, Disabled, BIPOC, Immigrant, Queer, poor folks, etc. are and HAVE been fighting for our and everyone else's rights for far longer than you might realize. We don't need your guilt or your apathy or your doom scrolling. We need your action.
