Sam @samlindauer.bsky.social · 06/08/2026Wells’ chase, whiff, k% all going on the wrong direct. The other metrics have remained somewhat similar. Idk if that’s just “pitchers figured him out and he couldn’t adjust” or something else. Bummer 000
Sam @samlindauer.bsky.social · 02/08/2026That Dominguez has stayed this bad (gotten worse) is a total failure of Yankees player development. He was rated as an average-above average fielder. And he’s now borderline(?) unplayable out there. Watch him go to 55 to 45! 100

Sam @samlindauer.bsky.social · 26/06/2026A fun thing about Game 4 being a Thing to Rewatch Forever is that there is so much Larry David just losing his mind in the background. 000

Sam @samlindauer.bsky.social · 30/05/2026Love Jasson Dominguez’s IG because he does post like a college kid lol. Here’s a repost of waterboarding your bat 010
Sam @samlindauer.bsky.social · 02/04/2026The reporting on this is weird to me and feels overly deferential? The “he’s taking the steps” how can you report and verify that other than the fact that he’s checked into an unspecified “facility? Also his gesture did not have antisemitic undertones it was just antisemitic?? Am I insane? 100
Sam @samlindauer.bsky.social · 04/03/2026Shohei Ohtani - best baseball player i've ever seen? Yes! Greatest baseball player ever? You can make a good case! Best hitter and pitcher in the WBC - No! The best pitcher and best hitter play for the US. This is not a knock on Ohtani, but I think some people see it that way. 100
Sam @samlindauer.bsky.social · 09/02/2026This was a comment on a TikTok thread about Kenneth walker’s dad watching his son in the Super Bowl. See if you can figure out how we got here! 010
Sam @samlindauer.bsky.social · 06/02/2026Look when you can sign a 38-year old who can only play first base and was absolute slop in the second half, you do it every time 110
Sam @samlindauer.bsky.social · 06/02/2026i know we're well past discourse time for this, but how is kenny lofton not a HoF'er? 100
Sam @samlindauer.bsky.social · 28/01/2026Chivilli is interesting in that he throws hard, gets whiffs, gets groundballs, slightly below average on avg. exit velo and walks -- but he also doesn't strike anyone out! Seems like a classic project guy and in a deal for TJ Rumfield, who had no future on this roster, is fine. 100
Sam @samlindauer.bsky.social · 26/01/2026I think he's kind of underrated? he's been very good pretty much every year since debuting as a 19 yo. His thru-age-32 comps on b-ref are uh good. only way he misses is if he becomes a 0-1 WAR player the rest of his contract, imo. 100
Sam @samlindauer.bsky.social · 16/01/2026Hinging your argument on pumping up a 35–year-old coming back from Tommy John, 1 good reliever, 1 great rookie setting new IP highs, then thinking you clinch it by adding AND CABALLERO AND ROSARIO 😏 320
Sam @samlindauer.bsky.social · 14/01/2026When weathers goes down in spring training, Brian Cashman gonna turn into a Tim Robinson character saying “How could this happen!?!” 120
Sam @samlindauer.bsky.social · 06/01/2026On Sunday, my grandmother passed away at 95. She was an incredible person who made friends wherever she went. She was the textbook doting Jewish grandmother. Given the folks who follow me on here, thought I'd share a bit about her and the Yankees and a story tied to this photo with Paul O'Neill. 140
Sam @samlindauer.bsky.social · 12/12/2025As Maikel Garcia gets a contract extension, couldn't help but notice his '23 and '24 seasons were very similar to Volpe's. The difference is Garcia broke out on offense in '25 and became an all-star. Volpe's a year younger. and, uh, here's hoping he can figure it out in a similar way. 110
