Sunday night my world stopped. My American bully/akita mix was sniffing at a mailbox and attacked by two dogs, a big one and small one out of the blue. The owner wasn’t outside and when she casually walked out, her concern was her dogs. Thankfully, no stitches but at one point they had a mouth

Sometimes the pharmacy gives Cancro treats so she was being on her best behavior at the window and once it worked, she was holding one of the giant Milkbones like a cigar out of her mouth while she was hanging out the window, so afraid she might miss something

If anyone has to use a home cryotherapy machine for orthopedic surgery, invest an ice machine and a really good ice pick and/or heavy duty meat tenderizer hammer Because those suckers hold 3/4 of a small bag of ice every 8-12 hours and it is cathartic to take out frustration on ice nuggets

My weekend with my grand pups was amazing Cancro was sick last week. I took off work for a mental health day one day and slept and cuddled after being up all night with her (husband had knee replacement so I’m her walker). She’s now a big sister to Beau who’s 6 weeks old. Lots of Bluey to prepare!

That was the best AEW show I’ve ever been to! It was my first small venue show and the crowd was on fire with the cheers and chants. It was my son’s first show ever and he doesn’t watch it but we converted another one. If Adam Cole had walked out, it was the only thing that would have been better

Last night, 12 year old Cindy finally got to see Men At Work in concert, just 40 years later! Colin Hay was still perfection!!! I also realized I knew more Christopher Cross songs than I thought And Toto…they headlined and I only knew like five songs but hearing Africa live was so much fun!

Yesterday I met a man wearing a MAGA hat and I didn’t even react, I even let my dog near him to sniff and say hi and didn’t pull her back, they have cooties He was in the dementia unit of assisted living and was like 95 so if he wants to wear it, he can because hopefully he didn’t vote.

My puppy got called chubby by the vet in her notes She walks 5-6 miles every single day The fact that she was being rewarded after every single walk with a cup of dog ice cream is irrelevant (It honestly didn't register that it was meant for a special treat) We will save $60 every two weeks 😆

My MIL can’t go back to assisted living and can’t come to our house because we can’t physically lift her or bathe her. She has exhausted all of her Medicare days Her only hope now is to be put on Medicaid. I really hope she does not get cut since her son voted for it to happen

One year with this sweet girl ❤️ It has been worth all the pulled muscles and broken fingers as she has grown. We had PTSD from a small dog that had a favorite person that changed by the second and would snap and snarl. She didn’t give me a chance to be afraid, she chose us too and healed us

Yesterday my cheering section was the loudest as I walked in across a baseball stadium. As soon as I saw my brothers, the enormity of it all hit me. But random winds kept knocking my cap off as I waited for my name to be called and a ladybug landed on me. My parents were definitely there ❤️

This is grad school in a nutshell! The professor in charge of practicums is MIA and I have yet another elective for the summer semester. I have a 160 hour practicum and my workload just tripled. Oh and the summer semester starts Monday, I didn’t even do FAFSA and not registered 😅
