I think part of the liberal outrage is that it doesn't put non-Palestinian voices, specifically the other side, front and centre on the question of Palestine. From British empire one, it's been considered the right of the coloniser to decide the terms of decolonisation.

I've never seen such an effort to censor a document as I have the Amnesty International report on gender critical groups because of JK Rowling. They removed the report from the Wayback Machine and now I got a DMCA strike on my Google Drive for having it. It was deleted and removed from my account.
A screenshot of an email viewed in dark mode with the subject line "Google DMCA Violation." The email from Google informs the recipient that they have received a notification under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) that some of their materials allegedly infringe on copyrights. It explains the removal process, mentions that notice details will be posted on Lumen, warns against repeated violations, and lists one affected Google Drive URL at the bottomA nearly identical mobile browser screenshot of the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine. It shows a search for the same Amnesty International UK resources URL, resulting in the same message: "This URL has been excluded from the Wayback Machine."A mobile browser screenshot of the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine. Labour lost nearly four times as many voters to the Greens as Reform. Yet all you hear about is Reform's threat to Labour. Why? Because a) the left aren't treated as legitimate political actors b) Labour's masters prefer bashing migrants to challenging wealth and power

It's interesting how it is always the left wing's fault that fascists rise to power, as opposed to the centre's. This is, of course, despite the fact that the centre are the ones in power who have declared that racism is 'reasonable', transphobia is acceptable, and the disabled don't need money.

Where’s the fury about rightwing antisemitism? The newspapers that call out leftwing antisemitism publish antisemitic cartoons and champion politicians with a record of antisemitic statements. So who is holding *them* to account? This week’s column. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

No one should get a free pass on antisemitism – so why does the right?
There is legitimate scrutiny of antisemitism on the left, but at the same time, rightwing media outlets offend with impunity. That makes no sense, says Guardian columnist George Monbiot

It took a two-year screaming all-channels hate campaign and a secret internal wrecking operation funded via illegal donations from a zillionaire, to hammer Sir Keir’s predecessor to a far better position than the one these geniuses achieved just by being themselves and doing what they think is good.

he Labour Party is losing to everyone, everywhere.
There is nothing to redeem Sir Keir Starmer in the results from England overnight, nor any plausible consoling fiction left to cling to. At best, Labour MPs are being taught a hard lesson about the fantastical unpopularity of their leader. At worst, they are witnessing - and frankly are complicit in - Labour's demise as a national party.
It really is that simple. It really is that fundamental.
Starmer is doing worse than Jeremy Corbyn and Nigel Farage is going farther than Boris Johnson ever did in what cliché usually dictates we call Labour's historic heartlands.
This isn't Ukip. It isn't the SDP. This challenge to Labour is qualitatively and quantitatively different to any insurgency that's disrupted the party system before.

Coverage of yesterday's massive animal rescue attempt getting shut down. Interesting choice of where to attribute "violence". The activists were peaceful. The police used tear gas and rubber bullets. The dogs inside the facility are used for animal experiments then killed. bsky.app/profile/usat...
