I hope Bremerton puts the same effort to make their citizens happy as they are for these FIFA fans. 🙄

Hi! We're an alternative to Amazon's Audible, & here are a few things that people often don't know about us: 1. We have over 600k audiobooks in our catalog! You'll pretty much find whatever you want to read, other than Audible exclusives (but that's on them, not us)

Told my husband that in the Stardew Valley 1.7 update, you will be able to romance Clint and Sandy. His response, oh I thought you could already romance him and no one chose to 😂

If you are still on the fence about switching to Libro.fm, this should be the thing that pushes you over. Audible would never. So much so, they have exclusive audiobooks that they don’t even send to libraries, the only place that makes everything acceptable to everyone. Make the switch!

Tomorrow, a certain online mega-retailer launches a book sale, just days before Indie Bookstore Day on 4/26. This is no coincidence; Bookstore Day is one of the largest revenue drivers for indies. Indies need our support to thrive & build community spaces for all...mega-retailers do not.

I’m beyond shocked at how quickly we have complied and I will not stand for it. DEI hiring is good for everyone. We must fight this.

Email to: Greg.Wheeler@ci.bremerton.wa.us

Mayor Wheeler,

I am very disappointed to hear about your response to DEI and the executive order by the sitting president.

As you know, many of these executive orders are not legal, and are not enforceable. They are wanting us to comply and turn away from what we know is right, and DEI hiring is not just good for diverse candidates, but for everyone.

Please reconsider this decision, and consult legal representatives and other jurisdictions around us. We have to hold strong. We have to continue to stand up for those who don’t have the power to do so themselves.

As a member of this community, I demand better for the Bremerton I know and love.

My husband said something to me yesterday and it has really stuck. Maybe others need it too… “If Meta and Musk value my time and attention that much, why don’t I?” I’m going to hold this as I navigate a world with less social media. I think it’s time.
