Promotional poster for The Pseudorandom Ensemble at MathsWorld London, featuring Colin Beveridge, Sam Holloway, Sam Hartburn and Gavan Fantom. Against a pale background patterned with musical notes, the poster shows four musicians in mathematical T-shirts and a singer performing in front of a periodic-table-style display. Text describes “a musical journey through the highs, lows and medians of being a mathematician”, with detours into pentagonal tilings, squircles and square packing — and promises “maths, music” and plenty of exposition between songs.

How can you describe what isn’t there? ‘Nothing has a name’ is a song that introduces some of the words we use for the concept of zero. Created by Tappy Math(s) to support children aged 3 to 6 in early mathematical thinking.
A screenshot from an animated song video showing a page in an open book with an empty bag, an empty bucket, an empty chair and the word Empty. The lyric at the bottom of the screen is “Empty is”. In the corner there is an inset of a woman showing the gestures to the song.

A graph showing bookings for MathsJam 2026. The graph has a line for 'Attending' which goes up steeply from 0 at -160 days to just over 50 at -135 days, and a line for 'Remote' that's still fairly low. There is a faint diagonal line which the 'Attending' line is currently above.
