Happy Easter to those who celebrate! Took this pic in 2011 on a business trip w/my husband, but we also had 3 days to tour Jerusalem & environs. This is from what is claimed to be the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus was arrested after the last supper & betrayal by Judas.

Part of what is said to be the Garden of Gethsmane where Jesus was arrested prior to his crucifixion. It contains olive trees and other plantings as well as a groomed gravel walkway.

This is a few years old but if you’ve never seen DC in full bloom, you’re missing out on a beautiful display. Pink is a much nicer color for our nation’s capital than orange.

In order to escape politics for a bit I went hiking & geocaching today. Despite a steady rain it was good to get outside-my favorite find was camouflaged beneath an artificial stump. You’re never too old for a good scavenger hunt!

One of the best things about having millennial offspring is music sharing. Today my dau had me listen to “Hurt” by Nine Inch Nails & also the Johnny Cash version, neither of which I’d ever heard. I had her listening to the Grindstaff/Brewster/Parton bluegrass version of R. Stewart’s “Forever Young”🎶

My county’s ONLY SSA office is on a DOGE list to not have its lease renewed. Now he wants to cut phone services to the SSA. Those who don’t have internet access or aren’t comfortable with computers (yes, they exist) are being targeted. Which is what he wants before he axes the whole damn thing.
