Some skeleton minis I finished painting recently.

Collection of 20 skeleton warrior miniatures, painted in metallic silver and brass armors. They hold an assortment of swords and spears as they are sculpted as shambling forward, their bases with texture paint to look like a snowy tundra. Tattered green and blue cloth hangs from their forms and they hold silver shields painted to look tarnished.

A close up of one skeleton, his form a bit bent as he’s raising a red battle flag. The cloth around his legs is a dark turquoise that blends to vibrant blue at the edges. Old gashes in his breast plate reveal painted ribs underneath. A brassy short sword hangs from his belly in a brown scabbard.

Same flag-bearing skeleton shown from behind. Across his back are old leather straps. On the top of the flag staff, one can clearly see a brass circular top with a subtle design of a dragon bent into a circular shape.

Another skeleton, with the same silver, blue, and brass color scheme. They are sculpted with head hangs limply to the side, shambling forward with a scimitar.

Painted this mini tonight. Collection of four images from different angles. Skeleton with blue ragged coat, broken tarnished-steel armor, and brass chain skirt. They are holding a steel falchion and round shield. His bones are stained yellow-white with brown recesses.

I spent way too much time this month painting this one mini for a local competition.

Painted warlock mini, seen from front. Blue flowing robes and cape, with brown and white fur on cape. He has a horned helmet made of skull and gold, and he holds a burning book and a burning staff. The flames on the staff come from a charred skull. He has a dark plate armor and a skirt of chain mail. The flames reflect off his cape and helmet.

Same mini as before, but the side. More of the cape is visible, showing a purple in the deepest recesses and peaks of a lighter gray-blue. The edges of the cape are dry brushed white to represent snow clinging to it from the ground. More can be seen off the red and orange glow of the flame, also shining off his leather glove that’s holding the staff.

Same mini seen from behind. The cape is now fully visible. Over top are runic charms made of gray stone and a rat corpse totem. Underneath, the outline of a sword is visible, the scabbard visible to the bottom left. The scabbard is brown with bone-white, with an end made of gold stamped with a rune.

Same warlock mini, now back left. Scabbard is still visible, and now the arm holding the fiery book. Flames of orange and yellow rise from the pages, the light reflecting orange off the cape save leather glove. The cover is the book is brown and stamped with a circle from which juts eight rays, the symbol gold. A vial of red liquid hangs from the warlock’s side.

Extra zoom in of the skeletons.

Zoom in of twenty armored skeletons that are lumbering forward. The undead hoard still has their ancient arms and armor on their bony forms, ready to overwhelm their living foes. One is the back holds a flag, still acting as the flag bearer after his mortal death.

Soulblight vampire spearhead assembled.

Zoomed out shot of assembled and unpainted miniature army. Consists of twenty skeletons in ancient armor shambling ahead in the front; a unit of five lance-wielding vampire cavalry models; a unit of three beastial vampire bat-men (vargheists); and a dramatic vampire lord model in the back to command their army.

Zoomed in picture of vampire lord model. They’re holding a large mace and shield, while clad in plate mail. They stand in a dramatic pose on a rock, with a collection of bats that dance in their long hair as the hair flows out behind them.

Zoomed in picture of vargheists. They are beasts with large winged arms and lightly long tuffs of hair along their hunched backs. Their change has left their facial features bat-like. They appear to be charging ahead.

Zoomed in picture of vampire cavalry. Four hold lances while one has a spiked mace, and each has ornate plate mail and shields. They sit on undead horses, the steeds likewise having armor. One has a flag that hangs from their lance.

I don’t really get the big deal of this story other than “young couple didn’t have good communication in the late 80s” and “old guy can’t remember or exaggerate his younger self”. Like, the real villain is Chinese patriarchy. That being said, we know now that he loves sexy saxophone.

Screen shot from story that reads, “'Tim was very passionate and very romantic. I can still remember dancing with him to our favorite song, Careless Whisper,' she told DailyMail.com in an exclusive interview.”

Can he produce good old Soviet-style propaganda? I mean, that would make this election cycle more tolerable, at least.

Homage to old Communist propaganda with two cats (one grey and white, the other orange and striped) looking proudly to the left as they make bread. It reads “the kneads of the people come first! Full bellies! Food for all!”

A picture of the Sega Saturn game Shining Wisdom. Features a knight in Megaman robot-like blue armor and holding a blue sword. The princess has a worried expression and is slightly bent over, further emphasizing her cleavage.

Get to pet sit for this adorable girl for the next week. 🥰

Brown and white mixed-breed dog with light-brown eyes. Looking forward and to the left, one front paw forward, while the other tucked under her. She’s sitting in the black interior of a car, the sun shining from the top left, causing the silver handle of the passenger car door to shine. The dog looks relaxed, and it has a brown leather leash hooked to its front.

Same brown dog, her eyes a bit darker in this photo. She’s looking a bit sad at the camera, playing down on a light blue blanket. In the background, there is an entertainment center and a small bookshelf of games and Blu-rays.

Seriously, Witch Hat Atelier has some of the best manga artwork I’ve seen in a while.

Cover of Volume 1 of Witch Hat Atelier by Kamome Shirahama. Features a young witch with yellow hair, a colorful blue outfit with pointed hat. She’s looking excited and is in mid jump, standing in front of a rustic cottage-style house.

Witch girl sitting on floor with brown book, with red and white fox-like creature. She looks upward as an athlete, a whale, a pegasus, an astronaut, and a ballerina-style princess are above her, coming from the book like smoke. The captions read, “Is an athlete always an athlete, even from birth? What about astronaut? Or a pop star? You can’t know what you’re going to be until you grow up, right? What about witches? Is it the same for them?”

Black and white page from manga. On top right, a nervous looking girl with short hair, and on top left, the same girl, but younger, filled with wonder, wearing a crown of flowers. The page is dominated by a castle on top on a mountainous landscape, surrounded by thick clouds. The main panel reads “When I was really little, my mom once took me to a festival at the castle.” Below are two other panels. On the right, showing the younger-version of the girl looking apprehensively at a shadowy figure in a pointed hat, sitting at the end of an alley. The left shows the older-version of the girl talking to a tall, cloaked man with wild, short hair and small glasses. On the right, the caption says, “I bought a slim book that day from a witch wearing a mask.” On the right panel, the man is confused, asking, “A slim book?” To which she laughs and mentions, “seemed like it was handmade”

A black and white page from a manga with two panels. On the top panel, a light-haired girl is looking at the viewer with wonder, clouds and sky around her, the caption reading, “Coco, from now on, you will be…”. In the bottom panel, a tall young wizard with flowing robes and pointed hat is holding the girl above his arms, she facing him and is in a night gown. They are flying above a mountainous landscape. The caption finishes the above caption with, “a witch.”

A Little Golden Book entitled "A is for ALIEN - An ABC Book." The cover features the the predominantly blue and gray interior of a space station, with a brown-haired, brown-eyed Ripley in a blue jumpsuit and white shirt. In her hands, she is holding a orange cat who is looking nervously up and two the right. In the corner where the cat is staring, a blue-black xenomorph alien is lurking. The left edge of the book features the classic gold edge with animals and flowers, printed in black.

Was given this advertisement on another site. It’s definitely false advertisement. A thesis will take energy, creativity, motivation, energy drinks, adderall, and coffee. However, life is unlikely to bring much clarity, and you’ll be lucky if all of your committee reads it, let alone 10k people.

Advert for a product called Thesis claimed to have 10k+ five star reviews. Hand holding up a stack of four boxes, labeled motivation, creativity, energy, and motivation. In the upper left are the words energy drink, adderal, and coffee crossed off, below which the name Thesis is displayed.
