I specifically worked hard to trade babysitting with other parents so I could go out more. Couldn’t afford paid babysitting as often as I wanted and I got free entertainment for my kids to boot!

Thank gosh I left the end of my first long line to walk up and check bec I had been in the VIP line. I mean-didn’t matter bec started 30 minutes late. But same thing happens for MBMBAM shows, Bhangra Blowout etc And never a word in the multiple emails sent about which entrance to use.

I was there too! Have you ever been to anything at DAR where anyone had a clue which line was for what? Never any signs up or employees around. I was next to an employee on a smoke break who confirmed I was in the regular line. Tons of people got kicked out of VIP line at 9:50 to join our long line

Nooooo!!! When I moved here 23 years ago it was the debate if Meskerem or Dukem was tops. When I was pregnant and there was no Ethiopian food on the hill, I drove to H Street nine months pregnant to get takeout because it was my biggest craving. Just took family there this spring 😭
