Every week, the women's division grows stronger in spite of her absence. But I miss her in AEW more and more.

I was also gonna chime in, I don't drink soda when I can help it but when I do, it's exclusively "Zero" stuff these days. "Diet" can kick rocks, never touched the stuff. Can second that ZS Mug is elite but also, I swear by ZS Canada Dry! That's like an elixir for an upset stomach without any guilt!

heeeell yeah, brother! Same here, except tomorrow starts a 10 day vaycay for my partner and I! her family planned a trip down to Alabama for all of us months ago but now, conveniently 🫪, the first hurricane of the season is probably making landfall down there this weekend so we're scrambling lmao

Did you know you only need a small brain to make silly little drawings?

4 panel comic:
Panel 1: pink blob guy on a table, pencil in their hands. Grey circle on a piece of paper and a glass of water on the table. They say “look here”
Panel 2: Proudly, they hold up the drawing of a grey blobby character on two stick legs up in the air. The pink blob says “I drew this!”
Panel 3: Satisfied they sit back down on the table. They now go “it’s not much, but..” The grey drawing looks a bit peeved because the drawer is calling it “not much”
Panel 4: But it’s okay, because now the pink blob is very pleased finally. He says “it came from my brain!” Holding the pencil up. The grey drawing blob is happy again, too. End well, all well!

PAC was a day ONE guy and he never disappointed. This thread was for the tribute show last night but honestly I still can't think about that without choking up, so I think this thread will continue as I rewatch older AEW Dynamite, Rampage and PPVs to honor the life and in-ring legacy of Ben. 🖤

9th ever EDITION* of Dynamite, is when the Omega vs PAC Iron Man Match was, BTW to pass the time at work and try to heal these past few days, I've started Dynamite over from the very beginning. There's a reason men like PAC, Omega, MOX and Hangman Adam Page have been my favorites for so long.

I will have more to say, there's more I want to say now but the only reason I'm even posting is because I had to pause the show to take my ~18 month old Border Marceline out to potty. Otherwise, she hasn't left my crying side since the show started. Hug and hold your loved ones harder tonight 🖤

But moreso than that, just like with another underappreciated great inside and outside the ring, "The Butcher" Andy Williams also passing tragically earlier this month, he seems to be universally loved and appreciated for a quieter, softer man of passion behind the scenes too and that kills me.

PAC was in some of the first events I ever ordered on PPV for AEW. He competed on the first ever Dynamite and I will say with zero hyperbole his match with Kenny Omega on the 3rd EVER addition of Dynamite in a 30 minute Iron Match put the wind in the sails of AEW and relit my love for pro wrestling.

..I've been in a funk all week but I've held it together so far. As soon as this tribute show began with Excalibur alone at the desk, I lost it. It sounds like the "Bastard" PAC Ben Satterley was far from it behind the curtain. And he's been in AEW since Day 1 so this hurts that much more. RIP PAC

I've been trying to compose myself all day and it's been a whirlwind of emotions here in my wrestling loving household so I've been mostly offline. But the first 3 posts I found logging on here today all put wonderful words about PAC and mourning within this community into focus. So, we are here!

Sad way to look at an already tragic situation. But, the silver lining, if there is such a thing here, is that you can weed out some awful bad actors and grifters looking for a click in the wake of this and clean up your personal communities and timelines.

I took the day off. My work isn't very meaningful and they weren't hurt by my absence today. But I'm not sure it made me feel, well, anything, but not any better. I return to work tomorrow morning and hope I can steel myself for another day before the tribute show on Wednesday..

wrestling deaths suck. it's hard to explain to normal people. watching someone for like 10+ years and gaining a connection to that character. unresolved goals that you saw for them. ive seen it happen for over 20 years and it always hurts. especially seeing so many go before they hit 50.

I wanted to say this after Andy Williams passed away and I found a way to verbalize it to my friends and family when we spoke about him, but couldn't figure out the right way to put it into written words. But you nailed it. AEW and Tony Khan are just full of respect and love through and through.

I have not fully processed this yet. Happy and healthy in the opening contest of All Out last night to this news breaking suddenly tonight, it doesn't feel real, or fair. Rest in Peace, PAC. 💔

I, on the other hand, a very sophisticated and intelligent gentleman, decided to see Backrooms in an ice cold theater on one of the hottest days under 100+ degree heat index this summer. It was like flash freezing myself (and I was also very high) so I had a panic attack for like half the movie. 😂

Like, big whoop, they remade Crash and Spyros original trilogies, Crash 4 and FINALLY announced a new Spyro after x amount of years. Last I heard, one or two of those teams (Beenox and Toys for Bob, I believe) are in the mines working on the next COD. This company folded NEVERSOFT, MAN. NEVER! SOFT!

And in what world, adding to the point made about the lack of lamenting of jobs lost, is modern Rare, Activision or whomever that would hypothetically be behind a Banjo reboot, do we believe those teams are qualified or competent enough to do a new game justice? These IPs are DEAD dead, leave em
