Some useful advice I received as a grad student planning to "turn my dissertation into a book." Don't think of it as a process of "revising your dissertation..." Instead, write a (new) book that uses your dissertation research as a central resource.

Thanks to everyone who weighed in on the cover design for this forthcoming book, which I've edited with Lexi Eikelboom: Art-Making as Spiritual Practice. Although there was a strong push for purple, we ended up with the pink version, and I think it looks great!
