Just learned that the Paleo Pines devs are in trouble right now as their publisher seems to have financial issues. Gosh I hope they can resolve the situation, I wish them the best of success <3

Just did a what-if check, pretending to book flights and a hotel for a convention in the UK. Would it be possible, budget wise? Mayyyyybe? ;D ;D

Hm, so in order to leave more than one reaction emoji on a Telegram post I need Premium? That's kinda funny 🤣 Like Lefty the Salesman on Sesame Street. Maybe they should try that too: selling letters after disabling them on your keyboard. "Would you like to buy an O? Maybe a T?"

My thoughts after trying to find some nice Utahraptor goodies on Amazon and even Etsy(!) ;-; I'm not interested in raptors with only one sickle claw on only one foot, 4 toes and no sickle, two toes and a sickle in between them, ...

Just got an explicit message from some stranger on BARQ and politely replied I'm not interested. Immediately got blocked. Guess their cluck-cluck rooster couldn't handle being denied? xD

Not sure if this is another bird brain moment of mine but I just learned that @savage-mojo.bsky.social was actually running a paleo backpack campaign last year, now I want one so badly, haha xD Glad I bumped into their TinySaurs tho ^-^ (www.backerkit.com/c/projects/s... ends in 2d)

Boy oh boy, my sleep cycle is garbage right now. Kinda wished I could sleep normally again but I either fall asleep and wake up again prematurely or I can't fall asleep at all. It's frustrating :/

In the past people thought that in autumn flies would start to bite and suck blood like mosquitos. Of course that was just mother nature who gave this little critter a sexy straw to poke at living things. Little stable fly I caught and released - looks like a regular fly but it loves your blood (:

My doc's been using a platform / app to manage various things which has been working ok. Now they've just sent me a notification about their newest feature: ✨ AI Assistants ✨ People are already shredding each other apart over this.

Sam Retro-Talon @sam.raptor-care.center · 11/09/2026

Just been shown a demo of an AI code plugin and it felt like watching a slapstick comedy show. Dude had to revise code very often, it was humorous at best. Honestly would like to see hardware prices drop again a lot more. But it feels like I'm waiting for Godot there *sighs*

Back to stone age! xD Well not quite... Internet went brrrrr and my mobile connection is garbage because of the nearby festival. Got to at least say hi on Twitch albeit with potato resolution :3 Thank goodness Paleo Pines works offline though, gonna pet some dinos then curl up to sleep ^~^

A desert right next to a lush forest? Anything's possible in Unreal Engine! Learning some advanced techniques to create maps in Unreal 5.8 right now.

Family seems to enjoy it, half of that tarté is already gone, haha xD

According to what I researched, this is a "Tarté Bourdaloue aux Pommes", an apple pie which supposedly originates from Rue Bourdaloue in Paris. 🇫🇷🍎🥧 I learned a few things like what a pâte sucrée is (dough) and how to make a crème d'amande. Could improve some things but it really tastes great!

Looking forward to trying out this nice dish I found yesterday! Didn't know Pyrex is a French brand, maybe I should inaugurate it by baking a French apple tarté? 🍎 🇫🇷

Gotta tidy up your giant raptor plushie before her hatchday comes - been almost a year since I finished putting her together. First time I ever did something like this and I made a few mistakes - which I'm now taking care of!

Lemon meringue pie! It was an interesting experience, I've also learned a few things (see next post). There's room for improvement but the pie tasted quite nice. (: I wonder if this would've cheered up Owen? (Probably not because Bongo's shenanigans would have ruined it, hrhr).

Okies... Time for something new: Paleo Pines kind of inspired me to try baking an apple pie! 🍎 🥧 🦕 Never done it, was fun and tastes really great! I'm especially happy the filling did not turn into apple sauce xD

🐌 When you have to replace a failed HDD in your NAS but all you have as a spare is an SMR drive. 🐌 I guess I should grab some snacks, resilvering is going to take a loooooooooooooong time x)

So replacing a failed 2TB drive in my storage system would have cost me like 70€ a while ago but thanks to the AI craze the prices are now at ~140€ for one drive. While I am not strictly against new tech I do see why many people hate AI tech firms. I wished they wouldn't ruin the hardware market.

#PaleoPines secret knowledge: Stored produce will slowly degrade over time. It will lose 1 star per season change and there is no way to prevent it other than processing or selling your good. Well that's good to know, I guess I should have read the invisible game manual more carefully! 😅

How's my day been? Let's see: - PayPal restricts my account without knowing why - my brother's fiancee's uncle passes away unexpectedly - I try relaxing, end up accidentally watching a garbage documentary TL;DR Today just wasn't my day, time to go to sleep, tomorrow's going to be a better one! 💛

So PayPal doesn't want me to commission artists via vgen and doesn't tell me why. Valid and working cards? Check. Bank account in good standing? Check. PayPal account verified? Check. Everything's working fine elsewhere - maybe they need a blood sample or the name of my fav showering gel? *growls*
